On Oct. 13, 2026, Complex reported that the Turkish comedian has “reportedly filmed” 90 Day: The Single Life, in the same story where he said he wants his estranged wife’s lips off his neck. TLC has not announced a new season.

Five days later, Shekinah Garner said the part nobody expected. “When you’re in love with somebody, it doesn’t just go away overnight,” she said on The Sarah Fraser Show, per Complex. She filed for divorce in September, and the case now sits in what she calls a “limbo state.” Here’s the dated record from both sides.

Where the Single Life Rumor Started

The rumor is older than the October headlines. In mid-August, the fan Instagram account 90DayFianceUpdate claimed Sarper was spotted filming what appeared to be The Single Life at Urban Putt in San Jose, California, alongside franchise alum Tyray Mollett. Showbiz Cheat Sheet picked it up on Aug. 17.

Sarper didn’t deny it. Under the fan post, per Complex, he shot back, “Are u posting everything u see about me ??” and added, “Wait for the tell all of The Last Resort, everything will be more clear.”

Sarper has crashed The Single Life before, as a surprise guest coaching Tyray at the Season 4 Tell All in March 2024.

Is Sarper Guven Going to Be on 90 Day: The Single Life?

Nobody official has said yes. TLC has not announced Season 6 of The Single Life, and there is no premiere date. What we have is a fan sighting, an outlet repeating it as “reportedly,” and a comedian who answered with a wink, not a denial.

Reading between the lines, the timing is what stings. If that August sighting is right, cameras were rolling on Sarper Guven’s single life five weeks before he posted on Sept. 22, “In my heart and in my mind, I am SINGLE now.” The next day Shekinah was still telling fans, “I still see myself as married because I am.”

Shekinah Garner Filed and Kept a Promise

Shekinah filed for divorce on Monday, Sept. 28, according to TMZ, which obtained the court documents. That was the night the Last Resort Season 3 finale aired. She cited irreconcilable differences. “Filing for divorce was not a decision I made lightly or without heartbreak, but I’ve reached a point of no return,” she told TMZ.

Her statement that week carried a sharper line. She said the two of them had promised each other never to do The Single Life, and that she intends to keep that promise. By then Sarper had already rebranded himself as a single comedian on tour.

Complex’s Oct. 13 story quoted Sarper’s Inked interview about the red lips on his neck, modeled after Shekinah. “Ideally, I would like to have a clean neck again,” he said. “Not because I want to erase my memories.”

She has regrets, too. “I really regret bringing him there. I really do.” And she wants out of the in between. “I just really am ready to close this chapter,” she said.

Sarper Guven tells it differently. In September he wrote, “Despite what she has claimed, I never chose fame or money over her.”

No court or hearing date has surfaced, so the divorce is filed, not final. Sarper hasn’t publicly answered her latest interview, and TLC hasn’t said a word about The Single Life.
