A Daughter Stuck Between Two Sisters

Hope Logan has been in Katie Logan’s corner for so long that it’s easy to forget she can read a headline. When the press push for Zende Forrester Dominguez went out, Hope and Zende both winced and called the attacks on Forrester harsh. Katie shrugged it off as clickbait with a fashion license, and Hope let her. That was the first crack. Cracks like that don’t heal on their own.

Hope’s mother is the one in the crosshairs. Brooke Logan told Hope and Katie to their faces that the onslaught had broken her heart, and Hope answered that none of it was personal. Brooke believed her daughter loved her. About Katie, she wasn’t so sure. Personal is exactly what this war has become, and Hope is standing in the middle of it holding a diamond.

Then the stained glass window changed the temperature. Katie grabbed a bottle, stormed into Forrester, hurled it through the glass, and screamed at Brooke that she disgusts her. Hope wasn’t in the room. Brooke will tell the story, and Hope will have to decide whose version she believes.

Bill Spencer warns Katie that her revenge is costing her a piece of her soul. Will Spencer says his mother has changed and now cares about nothing but winning. Zende admitted he had to turn his back on people he loves to be at Logan. Hope has watched all of it from the front row. When a husband, a son, and a star recruit all sound worried, the person with the most to lose by keeping quiet is the one who happens to be Brooke’s daughter.

What Happens When Hope Packs Her Bags

If Hope Logan walked, Logan would lose far more than a few headlines. The Hope for the Future diamond walked into Logan with her, and Brooke has been telling anyone who will listen that she wants to bring her sister back to the light, which starts with getting her daughter out of the dark. Eric Forrester has already watched Hope and then Zende leave and is counting the losses out loud.

Katie, meanwhile, is about to have a bigger problem. The previews have her telling a smirking Brooke that she won’t let anyone go after her marriage. A war on two fronts with one fewer ally is a terrible way to fight, and Katie will notice it too late, probably while standing in a room full of broken glass and unanswered phone calls, wondering where everybody went.
