Brady’s only booked beat is Wednesday, November 4, when he wants answers from Sarah and confronts her about her feelings. So the pairing fans are buzzing about is a forecast. The heartbreak behind it is not, and our daily recaps show both halves of it already on screen.

How Brady Ended Up Alone

On Thursday, October 29, Brady ended things with Sarah at the hospital where Xander Kiriakis was recovering from the bullet he took for her. Brady told her she belongs with the man she loves and that he deserves someone who can love him fully. No yelling, no begging. He simply set her free.

One day later, Sarah told Xander she loves him, he said it back, and they kissed. Xander even asked, “But what about Brady?” before his pain medication knocked him out. No scene so far tells us whether Brady has heard about that kiss.

Gwen Cried Over Being Single the Day Before

Here is the piece nobody else is connecting. On Wednesday, October 28, the show gave Gwen a quiet, aching scene with her best friend Leo Stark. Leo told her he and Javi are back together. Gwen was happy for him, then teared up about being single. Leo promised she will find love, and that he will be right there until she does.

Twenty four hours later, Brady was single too. If I know these writers, that timing is no accident. Gwen has had a lonely year. In July she learned Xander had been seeing Kristen behind her back, and in October she tried to talk Philip into strip poker, only to back off the second he said he is with Gabi.

Will Brady and Gwen Get Together on Days of Our Lives?

Maybe, but not on paper yet. One rumor column floated it in late October, then made it Prediction Seven on its sweeps list: a brokenhearted Brady and an unlucky in love Gwen bumping into each other at the Small Bar, commiserating, and then getting frisky. A second column repeated the call on October 31 without saying where it came from, and it left the Small Bar out. Neither one calls it a spoiler, and the soap rumor mill has not booked them a date.

There is even a rival forecast. Back on October 19, another column paired Gwen with Dominic Marino, who finally turns up in Salem on Monday, November 2. So Gwen has two rumored suitors and no scheduled scene with either one.

What Could Open the Door

Wednesday’s showdown is the hinge. If Sarah tells Brady Black what he already suspects, he has nothing left to wait for. Xander is not in the clear either. The police have not decided whether to charge him over his unlicensed gun, and Lani has harsh words for him on Thursday, the same day Sarah gets good news nobody will name. Then there is Rachel Black. Brady’s daughter is recovering from two surgeries, and her mother, Kristen DiMera, told her she has to go away. Don’t be surprised if any new woman in Brady’s life has to get past Rachel first. Gwen, who has traded blows with Kristen herself, would have her work cut out.
