Hope Logan’s life has been full of drama and complicated relationships from the start. As the daughter of Brooke Logan and Deacon Sharpe, who were having an affair while he was married to Brooke’s daughter, her unconventional origins set the stage.
When we first meet a young Hope on The Bold and the Beautiful back in 2002, she is played by a series of child actors. As she grows into a teenager and young woman, actresses Kim Matula and then Annika Noelle take on the role in 2010 and 2018 respectively.
Hope becomes a promising fashion designer, following in her family’s footsteps at the renowned Forrester Creations. She stands out as someone devoted to her values of kindness, compassion and integrity, even when things get messy.
And messy they can be! Especially when it comes to romance. Hope falls deeply in love with Liam Spencer, but their attempts to marry are thwarted time and again by meddling parents, scheming rivals and long-lost secrets coming to light at the worst times. Even their own impulsive decisions and self-doubts sometimes get in the way of their happily ever after.
Through it all, many view Hope as a role model for her convictions and determination. She strongly believes sex should be saved for marriage, though this causes friction with Liam and leads some to accuse her of being self-righteous. When she’s wrongly accused of infidelity, it deals a real blow to her reputation.
Hope cherishes her friendships and close family ties amongst all the turmoil, staying especially near to her aunt Katie Logan and friends like Dayzee Forrester. Over the years, she has complex dynamics and romantic entanglements with other key figures in her sphere, including stepsibling Thomas Forrester and Oliver Jones, adding plenty more drama to her already high-tension world!
