Iris says nothing happened. TLC says Razvan isn’t done. Days after 90 Day: Hunt for Love showed Steven Frend making his move on Iris Castillo, the newcomer went on Instagram to deny she cheated on him, and 90 Day Fiance Iris Castillo fans are now asking the question the Nov. 2 episode may answer: did she, with Razvan?

Here’s what TLC itself has put on the record. Razvan Ciocoi has spent weeks circling, and the network’s listing for “The Boy Who Cried Love” says he “makes a move that leaves Steven doubting his chances.” Meanwhile, Razvan’s own run on the show is reportedly already over. That leaves one triangle, three people and a lot of footage still to air.

Steven Picked Iris and Said So Out Loud

Iris didn’t start the season in Steven’s corner. In the Oct. 5 premiere she clicked with Michael Ilesanmi, until he asked for a kiss and she turned him down. By the Oct. 19 episode, TLC said Michael had set his sights on someone new.

Steven stepped right in. In a preview released Oct. 16, he called Iris “mysterious in her own way” and made his intentions plain. “I focus on one person at a time, and that’s it,” he said. “And Iris is one that I’m focusing on right now.” The two bonded over anime and manga.

The catch? Razvan was pursuing her too, and both men showed up with costumes for the resort.

The Oct. 26 Episode Brought a Rumor at Sea

Monday’s episode, “The Girl Who Fell Off Her Stool,” turned the triangle up. TLC’s listing says “Steven makes his move on Iris despite Razvan’s efforts,” and that “sparks fly at sea, but a surprising rumor sends shockwaves through the group.”

Over on Sheet Talking the same night, Tim Malcolm gave Steven a talking-to about Iris. Nobody at TLC has said what the rumor at sea was about. Fans have filled in the blank with Razvan’s name.

Did Iris Cheat on Steven With Razvan on Hunt for Love?

Iris says no. According to TV Season and Spoilers, which reported her Instagram Q&A on Oct. 26, 90 Day Fiance Iris Castillo denied cheating on Steven and said she didn’t hook up with anyone. Her argument is simple: if she had, the cameras would have caught it and it would have aired.

Here’s the part the rumor mill skips. No TLC listing for Oct. 26, Nov. 2 or Nov. 9 uses the word cheat, and none says the rumor at sea is about Iris. The cheating question started online, not on TLC. And the reports of Razvan’s exit go back to June, months before his pursuit of Iris ever aired, so every Razvan scene still to come was filmed before whatever reportedly sent him home.

So when 90 Day Fiance Iris Castillo says it would have aired, she’s pointing at the same footage TLC is about to show. That’s either a confident denial or a dare.

Razvan’s Move and the Exit Nobody Has Confirmed

Razvan came to Hunt for Love from 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days, where he and Amanda Wilhelm confirmed their split at the Season 6 Tell All.

Since June, Instagram blogs have claimed Razvan was reportedly sent home early after an on-set argument with Jamal Menzies, in which he allegedly used a racial slur. Showbiz Cheat Sheet repeated the claim Oct. 18, citing the 90DayFianceUpdate account. TLC has not confirmed it, and neither Razvan nor Jamal has commented.

None of that changes the Nov. 2 listing. Razvan makes his move on screen, and Steven is left doubting where he stands.

What the Edit Can Still Show

Reading between the lines, the edit has room for one big Razvan swing and not much else. If he was reportedly sent home, his story has a hard stop, and Nov. 2 may be the peak of it. Don’t be surprised if the move is a kiss or a confession, and neither would prove Iris cheated.

Steven’s story keeps going. TLC’s Nov. 9 listing says “Steven breaks down over past mistakes,” which could reach back to his split from Olga Koshimbetova on 90 Day Fiance Season 6. Off camera, fans have also shipped him with Chloe Fabiano over their Puerto Rico selfies, though Steven has only ever named Iris.

My gut tells me 90 Day Fiance Iris Castillo isn’t using Steven for screen time. She’s a newcomer with two men chasing her, which is screen time she never had to beg for. New episodes air Mondays at 8 p.m. on TLC and stream the next day on HBO Max and discovery+.

Iris Castillo Has Her Story, and TLC Still Has the Footage

Iris made a smart play going online first. She can’t stop Nov. 2 from airing, but she can make sure fans watch it already knowing her side. If the footage backs her up, Steven can stop doubting. If it doesn’t, that Instagram Q&A ages badly, and fast.
