The Bold and the Beautiful
Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Li Finnegan’s Suspicions Send Carter Walton Hunting for a Shady Doctor
Bold and the Beautiful spoilers: Li Finnegan’s suspicions grow, and Carter may need a shady doctor to save the surrogacy lie Nov. 2 to 6.
LI FINNEGAN HEARD A HEARTBEAT TOO EARLY, AND NOW CARTER NEEDS A DOCTOR TO EXPLAIN IT
TL;DR: Spoilers say Carter Walton has to find a shady doctor to back the surrogacy story the week of November 2, and Li Finnegan’s suspicions are the reason. Li already heard a heartbeat she thought was too early to hear, and every new accomplice is one more way for this lie to break.
Carter Needs a Doctor Because Li Won’t Stop Looking
The newest Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for November 2 to 6 put Li Finnegan squarely in Carter’s way. Spoilers say Carter Walton will have to find a shady doctor willing to cooperate on the fake surrogacy, and that it may be the only way to deal with Li and her mounting suspicions. A second outlet has Li asking questions that same week about the pregnancy and the surrogacy doctor.
It is all hedged chatter, with no network line behind it yet, and nobody has Li finding the truth that week. But one more report says she isn’t ready to let this go and could find out the whole story if she keeps poking around. For Steffy Forrester Finnegan, that is the worst news since the test came back positive.
Here is why Li is a problem. On Friday, October 23, she figured it was too soon to hear a heartbeat that shouldn’t be there yet, and tried anyway while Steffy and Carter tried to put her off. It came through strong. Li’s one-word review: “Wow!”

Carter Already Lost Round One
Everyone forgets Carter tried this once. On October 1 he promised Steffy he had “contacts and people who could help.” On October 22 he asked for an outside doctor to handle Steffy’s test, and John “Finn” Finnegan said no. Li drew the blood herself, and Finn read the result out loud: “You’re pregnant.”
So the only doctors who have touched this pregnancy are Finn and his mother. No fertility doctor or clinic has ever been named on screen, even though spoilers have been promising Carter’s shady doctor since September. That man still hasn’t shown his face. Now Carter needs him more than ever.
And here is the catch nobody wants to say out loud. Every person Carter adds is one more person who knows. A doctor who can be bought can be bought again, or decide one payment isn’t enough.

Will Li Finnegan Expose Steffy and Carter’s Surrogacy Lie?
Not yet, and maybe not on purpose. No preview has Li Finnegan uncovering the truth the week of November 2. What she has is a doctor’s ear and the calendar, and the calendar is the trap.
Do the math with us. Steffy’s story is an embryo from her own frozen egg, transferred October 2. That puts her at about seven weeks on Monday, November 2. The real pregnancy dates to her night with Carter in August, which makes it about 13 weeks that same morning, the end of the first trimester. Any doctor Carter hires has to sign a chart that is six weeks short.
A handheld heartbeat check usually picks up a heartbeat somewhere around 10 to 12 weeks. At the five and a half weeks Steffy’s story claimed on October 23, there should have been nothing to hear. Li heard it anyway, and that same day she reminded everyone of all the appointments and the early ultrasound still ahead. A seven-week scan shows an embryo about the size of a blueberry. A 13-week scan shows a profile.
The Lie Now Has Too Many Keepers
Count the people holding this secret. Two know the truth: Steffy and Carter. Three believe the surrogacy: Finn, who told Steffy “I get it” on Monday; Daphne Rose Walton, who was never at any procedure and only wants to be a mom; and Li Finnegan, who knows only what Finn told her.
Two more have asked questions. Taylor Hayes asked her daughter on October 7 whether something was going on, and spoiler chatter has Steffy telling her mother about the surrogacy the week of November 2. Add a doctor, and that is two new keepers in a single week.
We said it when Finn and Li started investigating the pregnancy: a scan reads size, not paperwork. Carter can buy a signature. He can’t buy six weeks.

Li Has to Choose Between Her Son and the Truth
If I know these writers, the real fight is inside Li’s head. She just watched her son forgive his wife. Telling Finn would blow up two marriages at once, his and Daphne’s. Staying quiet would make her the next keeper of the lie.
My gut tells me Li Finnegan doesn’t stay quiet for long. She already stood in that office and heard a heartbeat too strong for the story, while Steffy had little choice but to lie back on the sofa and let her listen. Don’t be surprised if the next scan is the one Carter can’t talk his way out of.

Carter’s Shady Doctor Will Be His Biggest Mistake
Our take: Carter’s whole plan runs on adding people, and every one of them is a crack. A bought doctor is a liability with a price tag, and Li is the one person in this story who knows what the chart should say.

i still think it’s going to end up being Finn’s child and not Carter
