Days of Our Lives Recap: Dominic Marino Arrives in Salem Behind a Mask

The Days of Our Lives recap November 2, 2026 finally puts a face to the name. Dominic Marino is in Salem, and he made his entrance the creepiest way possible: behind a Halloween mask, at the front door, staring at Belle Black.

Belle and Marlena Evans were handing out candy on a slow trick-or-treat night, mostly eating it themselves. A little witch came to the door. Behind her walked a masked, hooded man. He looked right at Belle, said nothing and walked away.

Belle went inside rattled. It was not just the costume. It was the eye contact, and the strange feeling it left her with.

Then the mask came back to the Salem Inn. Rita Lesley was waiting in his room to greet him, and Dominic smiled and said, “I think I’m gonna like it here.” For a man the whole town has been chasing for weeks, that is quite a first line.

Last week’s promo already showed him watching Marlena through a window. Now he has walked right up to the door where Belle was standing.

Belle broke the news that EJ knows about the birth certificate, and Marlena’s answer was one word: “Oof.” Then she got real: she feels no shame about any of this, only fury at Stefano, and Dominic should not feel any shame either. All she wants now is the truth.

A Feather Spooks EJ DiMera

EJ DiMera was stewing over that birth certificate and George’s laptop, then played it cool when Cat Greene came back with popcorn. Sydney DiMera broke up the movie night. She thought she saw someone outside, found no one, and found a feather instead.

Once Sydney left, EJ admitted to Cat that he saw someone in a mask and a feathered hood when he woke up the other night. He locked down the grounds, and later he suggested the bedroom, but Cat headed out to a Halloween party, and EJ was left staring at the feather. Whose is it? Nobody has said, and we have a guess.

Days of Our Lives Recap: Stephanie Johnson Calls Joy Wesley a Fraud

At Small Bar, Stephanie Johnson told Philip Kiriakis that Joy is getting feeling back, and admitted she felt bad for ever suspecting her. Then she laid out her suspicions anyway. Philip told her Joy has been taking muscle relaxants. Stephanie took that as all the proof she needed.

She found Joy Wesley and Alex Kiriakis at the Day of the Dead table in the square, where Alex wanted to leave something for Adrienne. Joy warned her to stay ten feet away, and Stephanie called her a fraud and told Alex the pills can affect a nerve conduction test. Joy insisted she only got them after leaving the hospital, and Stephanie said the meltdown deserved a Daytime Emmy. Alex took a sobbing Joy home, asked Stephanie to talk later, and she stormed off.

Philip Kiriakis Gives In to Sydney

Sydney, dressed as a devil, slid into Stephanie’s empty seat. Her own meeting had fallen through and she needed a fourth for a poker game. “You interested?” Philip squirmed, tried a few excuses, and then let her talk him into it.
