Days of Our Lives Recap: Kristen DiMera Pays Sophia Choi to Disappear

The Days of Our Lives recap November 4, 2026 starts in a hotel room. Sophia Choi came through the door in a Dia de los Muertos costume and mask and startled Kristen DiMera. She had been out “being a ghost,” people watching, and she admitted she misses her son.

Kristen said she understood. The two of them agreed Sophia’s therapy is working, traded a few regrets, and then Kristen got to business. She handed over a bag of cash plus the number and password for an offshore account, and told Sophia to take the money and leave town. Sophia was thrilled, and after air kisses and a giggle she was gone. Kristen rolled her eyes the second the door shut.

Holly Jonas Sees Sophia Alive in Horton Square

Sophia did not leave quietly. Hidden behind a full mask and an accent, she watched Chanel Dupree and Trey in the square, and when Trey dropped his favorite toy, she handed it right back. Chanel wished the stranger a happy Halloween and walked on without a clue.

Then came the slip. Tate Black stepped away to call Rachel goodnight, and Holly Jonas was left alone. For one split second Sophia’s mask was down. They locked eyes. Sophia ran.

She saw her, and that is all the show has given us so far. Earlier that night Holly was still shaken by the helpline caller who sounded exactly like Sophia, the one we covered when Sophia’s call blindsided Holly. Our Days of Our Lives spoilers have Holly sharing her suspicions with Mason on Thursday, and we have a pretty good guess what they are.

Days of Our Lives Recap: A Dorm Room Seance Calls for Sophia

Before the square, Aaron Greene dropped by the dorm, where Arianna Horton could not stop gushing about him. When Sophia came up, Aaron joked they should hold a seance, got everyone holding hands, Tate included, and tried to reach her. Nobody answered. Holly finally snapped: “None of this is real!” Earlier, Chanel ran into Aaron in his ghost tour uniform and told him he can visit Trey anytime, because he will always be family.

Days of Our Lives Recap: Xander Kiriakis Wants Forever or Nothing

Sarah told Xander Kiriakis that Brady had broken up with her. Groggy Xander assumed it was the other way around. “He beat me to it,” Sarah Horton said.

Xander asked Marlena Evans for a private session and told her Sarah’s love has always been conditional, that he is working on himself, and that Sarah needs to do her own work. Marlena said if they both commit, they have a real shot at breaking the cycle. So when Sarah came back, Xander was blunt: he wants them back together eventually, but not now, and any reunion “has to be forever.” Sarah said she will do whatever it takes.

Brady Black Tells Tate It Is Over With Sarah

At the hospital, where Rachel Black was due to go home the next day, Brady Black told Tate that Sarah is moving back into the mansion and that they are over. Sarah came out to talk. She said they never set a status, she never meant to hurt him, and she loved him. Brady wished she had just been honest, and when she offered to talk to Rachel, he asked her to keep her distance.

Marlena told Brady that calling Dominic gave her some peace. Outside the Pub, Chanel told Marlena that EJ has disowned Johnny. Marlena was shocked and plans to go see him.

Sophia Choi Got Paid and Got Seen in the Same Night

Our take: Kristen bought Sophia a ticket out of Salem, and Sophia spent the first hours of her freedom handing toys to her son and wandering the square. That is not someone in a hurry to leave. Now Holly has a face to go with that helpline voice, and Kristen’s tidy exit has a witness. Xander and Sarah may finally be doing it the slow way, but the Sophia secret just picked up speed.
