90 Day Fiance: Jamal Menzies Says Rob Warne Friendship Is Over and Emma Perry Is Not the Whole Story

The 90 Day Fiance Jamal Menzies Rob Warne friendship is officially over, and Jamal wants fans to stop blaming it all on Emma Perry. In an Instagram Q&A first reported by TV Shows Ace on Oct. 20, Jamal Menzies put it plainly: “Me and Josh are still friends, and Josh and Rob are still friends, but me and Rob are not friends.”

Then he dangled the hook. “A lot of people are speculating that it’s because of Emma,” he said, but “there’s a lot more to the story.” So will 90 Day: Hunt for Love ever show what really broke up the 90 Day Bad Boys? Here is the dated timeline, and the one man who still hasn’t said a word.

Jamal Menzies Says It Built Up Over Time

Jamal didn’t name one moment. “I think there were a lot of things built up over time,” he said, according to The Ashley’s Reality Roundup. “Me and Rob are very different as people and we just don’t see things the same.”

He also refused to throw punches. “I’m not going to sit here and bash Rob, I never plan on doing that,” he said. “Whatever he chooses to do is on him.” As for Josh Weinstein, the friend who introduced them, Jamal called him “like a brother.”

The Emma Perry Timeline Fans Keep Pointing To

The Emma trail starts in April at the Before the 90 Days Season 8 Tell All. On the new confessional cam, Elise Benson said Emma had told her she and Rob Warne had been hooking up “for over a year.” Elise shrugged it off. “Like, who cares?”

Emma cared. In Part 2 on May 3, she called out Elise for crossing a line with Rob, and said she had been seeing him off camera but it was not a committed relationship. Rob, notably, was not on that stage.

Three days later, on May 6, Jamal posted that he was stepping away from the Bad Boys to follow his “own path.” He later deleted it. Josh cheered him on in public. Rob stayed silent.

Rob Warne Sent Emma Perry Straight to Jamal

Here is the twist that makes this messier. On the Oct. 5 Season 2 premiere, Emma explained how she knew Jamal would be in Puerto Rico. “I told Rob in secret that I was coming here,” she said. “And then, Rob told both of us.”

Emma and Jamal then hooked up two days before the retreat, while she was still involved with Rob. “I thought it was a great night,” she said. Jamal admitted the problem in his confessional: “Emma is exactly my type, but she’s hooked up with my friend Rob, and our friendship means a lot.”

Since then, Jamal has called his mom on camera and sparked a Kim Menzies cameo tease. He also told fans, per The Ashley’s Reality Roundup, “I’m a weak man when it comes to temptation.”

Why Are Jamal Menzies and Rob Warne No Longer Friends?

Only Jamal has answered, and his answer is “a lot more.” What fans miss is this: by Emma’s own account, Rob is the man who put her and Jamal on the same trip. He isn’t in the Season 2 cast, he isn’t in a single TLC listing through Nov. 9, and he skipped the Tell All where his name came up. Hunt for Love can only tell this story from one side.

So what else is in that “lot more”? The Ashley’s Reality Roundup notes fans also bring up an alleged flirtation between Jamal and Rob’s ex, Sophie Sierra. Nobody involved has confirmed it.

And one TLC listing will make fans squint. The Oct. 26 Sheet Talking description says tension builds between Jamal and someone named Sophie. TLC gives no last name. Coincidence, or a clue? We’ll be watching.

Rob Warne Has Not Said a Word

When The Ashley’s Reality Roundup ran Jamal’s comments on Oct. 21, Rob, Josh and Emma had not responded. We found nothing new from Rob as of Oct. 30. That silence matches May, when Jamal quit the group and Rob said nothing at all.

The show keeps the Jamal and Emma story front and center. On Monday, Nov. 2, salsa night turns tense when Jamal and Emma clash with the group. On Monday, Nov. 9, Jamal bonds with Chloe, Emma gets jealous, and a woman named Tanya delivers tough love that pushes Emma to rethink her future with Jamal. Both air at 8 p.m. on TLC.

Neither listing mentions Rob. My gut tells me the real answer waits for the Tell All, if Jamal Menzies is ever pressed to spill it.
