JUDE JACKS SAYS HE IS PHOEBE’S DADDY IN THIS GENERAL HOSPITAL RECAP
TL;DR: This General Hospital Recap catches Jude Jacks claiming he fathered baby Phoebe, which would make her a Jacks. Anna Devane forgives her younger self, Carly Spencer spots something alarming on security footage, Dante Falconeri wipes frosting off Elizabeth Webber’s face, and Ric Lansing starts sweating over a libel suit.

Surprise, Phoebe May Have a Jacks Daddy
Brook Lynn Quartermaine was exactly one divorce into her new life when the doorbell rang at the mansion, proving that General Hospital never lets its leading ladies enjoy a quiet week. On the doorstep stood Jude Jacks, the same silver-tongued stranger who had spent days as Britt Westbourne’s no-names-allowed “Crackerjack.” He announced that he was Josslyn Jacks’s cousin, the son of Jerry Jacks, and the biological father of Phoebe, and he fit all three bombshells in before anyone offered him a seat.
His story came with a certain tidy menace. He had spent months hunting for Delilah Wilson, traced her all the way to Port Charles, and arrived only to learn she had died. Because he never signed away a single parental right, he reasoned, Phoebe’s adoption by Brook Lynn and Chase was not worth the paper it was printed on. He promised to be in touch, which is what men say when they mean their lawyer will be in touch, and out he went.
Tracy Quartermaine promised Brook Lynn it would all work out, with the serenity of a woman who had swallowed an entire cosmetics company only a day earlier. Brook Lynn flew upstairs to the nursery and swore to Phoebe that nobody was taking her anywhere, a tender scene with a side of Greek tragedy. Down in the foyer, Jason Morgan warned that Jude would be a serious problem if the Jerry part checked out, Tracy floated paying him to go away, and Jason, never a man for small talk, said he knew where to start, which was never the library.
Across the grounds at the gatehouse, Chase was telling Willow Cain he planned to move off the estate now that the divorce had come through, and Willow was in full soothing mode with offers of house hunting and co-parenting pep talks. Chase thanked her for always knowing the right thing to say, a compliment with fantastic timing, because that was the moment Brook Lynn pounded on the door in tears. A stranger swore he was Phoebe’s real dad, she sobbed, and he wanted their daughter. Chase’s face did what faces do when the floor falls out.
By then Jude had already moved on to shopping for legal muscle. Soon after Ric Lansing left Miller & Davis, Jude strolled in, told Alexis Davis he had an urgent matter, and added that she came highly recommended, which was true of exactly nobody’s reputation in that building. When Alexis asked who had done the recommending, he skipped the answer and dropped his father’s name instead: Jerry. Alexis looked like a woman whose afternoon had been recalculated by a stranger.

Anna Finally Forgives Her Younger Self
Anna Devane walked into her therapy session with Valentin Cassadine beside her, the very man she had tried to talk out of coming, and Dr. Nichols steered the hour into Anna’s earliest days at the WSB and the man who loomed over her entire career. Anna explained that she had been handed that assignment because of an old connection, since his mother had once been her nanny. Valentin gently reminded her that nobody handed her anything, because she had reached out to the man herself.
The truth landed hard. Anna realized she had been hiding behind a false memory for decades, and that she had been blaming herself for every miserable thing that followed. Valentin refused to let her keep carrying it. She had been a teenager out of her depth, he told her, and holding herself responsible only kept that man’s hold on her alive. He begged her to forgive the girl she used to be, and with Dr. Nichols’s encouragement, Anna sobbed the same sentence again and again, that it wasn’t her fault, until she finally forgave herself.
Afterward, Anna thanked Valentin for ignoring her when she said she did not want him in the room, and Valentin admitted a part of his heart would always belong to her. She said the same.

Carly Catches Something on Tape
Joe Fitzpatrick paid a visit to Carly Spencer’s office to ask why the hotel’s security system had taken a nap on the night Jack Brennan vanished, and Carly, a woman with a lifetime of experience lying to people with badges, said she had been sitting right there at her desk. She had actually been poking around in Drew Cain’s office with Valentin, a detail she left out of the interview. She answered a few more questions with a straight face until it dawned on her that Joe considered her a person of interest, at which point she shut the conversation down.
Left alone, Carly pulled up the footage from that night and froze at what she saw. She phoned Valentin immediately with the news: Charlotte Cassadine and Danny Morgan were at the Metro Court on the last night anyone saw Jack alive.
Dante and Liz Get Frosted
Dante Falconeri held up his end of a cupcake promise and showed up to help Elizabeth Webber bake for the community center Halloween party, and the evening shifted from baking to comfort as he consoled her over Aiden moving out. After Liz declined a reporter’s call about Lulu Spencer’s article, Dante apologized for whatever trouble Lulu’s sketchy choices had caused. Liz didn’t blame him, but she aimed her irritation squarely at Lulu.
Then Liz wore half the frosting. Dante cradled her face as he wiped it from her cheek and her hair, and the kitchen filled with the kind of charged silence that no oven timer can fix.

Ric Sweats Over the Libel Suit
Ric hustled into Alexis’s office with a sad little plan: get her to lean on Monet Mitchell until Willow’s libel suit against Lulu went away. Alexis saw through him in about four seconds and realized the man was scared Monet might win. She suggested he talk Lulu into a retraction, especially since a Monet victory would end Lulu’s career as a journalist for good.
Ric conceded it was a long shot but hoped to settle everything before Thanksgiving, since Molly Lansing-Davis and Cody Bell had invited him and Liz to dinner at Alexis’s house. This was news to Alexis, who quipped that she would try to behave, the least reassuring pledge in the Davis family arsenal, and wished him luck representing Lulu.

Port Charles Never Takes Holidays
One stranger rang a doorbell and turned a nursery into a legal battlefield. Anna put down decades of blame, Carly pulled a thread that tugs at two kids, Dante and Elizabeth got frosted in more ways than one, and Ric discovered that Thanksgiving may arrive before his case does.
