Chelsea Pitches the Case Against Babies and Abby Gets a Shock

Chelsea Lawson and Abby Newman grab a table at Society and start talking babies, which feels like the natural side effect of Sally Spectra’s new arrival turning the whole town broody. Chelsea is not a convert. She reads out the case against it like a one-star review: she’d be the one carrying the child, she’d be the one up all night, and the indigestion and nausea would land squarely on her. The preview doesn’t say whose baby is on the table, and Adam Newmanrecently told Sally another child isn’t likely in the cards for the two of them, so either minds are changing or Chelsea is arguing with a hypothetical.

Then comes the twist. Abby knows how hard the baby road can be after her infertility struggle and Mariah Copelandcarrying her son, so when she stops mid-conversation and wonders out loud whether she could be pregnant, it is no throwaway line. Cane Ashby walks into Crimson Lights and finds Lily Winters sharing a table with Diane Jenkins, a pairing that had never crossed his mind. He says as much, and Lily confirms it is a first for the two of them. Diane explains she asked Lily to coffee because she has an offer she describes as the kind that comes along once in a lifetime. Coming from a woman who already faked her own death, that is a generous claim, and Y&R Spoilers don’t reveal what she is selling. Business? Personal? Something with fine print? With Lily running Winters, a pitch from Diane is either an opportunity or a trap, and Genoa City tradition says to locate the exits first.

A New Doctor Catches Nate and Stephanie Mid-Hug

At the hospital, Dr. Andrew Bishop walks in at the exact moment Nate Hastings is holding Stephanie Simmons in his arms. Bishop says he had heard Nate was back, then observes that Nate has gotten comfortable awfully fast. Nate and Stephanie only recently went public, and brushing off the awkward optics of dating his new boss was the whole plan. Now there is a witness. Y&R Spoilers don’t say whether Bishop is a friendly face or a problem in scrubs, but a man who delivers a line like that on his way through the door has either wit or a motive.
