CARLY SPENCER FOUND HER WAY OUT, AND IT RUNS STRAIGHT THROUGH TWO KIDS

TL;DR: Carly Spencer lied to Joe about the night Jack Brennan vanished, then found Charlotte and Danny on the Metro Court footage. Handing it over could clear her and expose them both.

Joe Came Calling, and Carly Lied

The General Hospital spoilers put one question on the table for the week of November 2: will Carly Spencer hand the PCPD the Metro Court footage of Charlotte and Danny to save her own skin? It is the cleanest alibi she could ask for. It is also a loaded gun pointed at two kids.

On Thursday, October 29, Joe Fitzpatrick walked into Carly’s office with questions about the night Jack Brennan disappeared. Carly admitted Jack was in her office right before he vanished. She told Joe she ended things with him because he used their closeness to recruit her daughter into the WSB. She blamed the hotel’s security failure on a virus that Jason Morgan found, lied about where she was, and told Joe that any more questions go through her lawyer.

Ex-girlfriend, last place he was seen, cameras down, story full of holes. If I were Joe, I would be circling too. Our October 29 recap has every beat.

The Tape Stops Right Where the Story Starts

Once Joe left, Carly had security pull the footage from that night, right up until the system crashed. What she saw stopped her cold. Charlotte Cassadine and Danny Morgan were at the Metro Court the last night Jack was seen. She called Valentin Cassadine and told him they have a problem.

We know what Carly doesn’t. On September 1, Danny and Charlotte found Jack in the closed hotel pool, and Danny talked Charlotte into running instead of calling the police. Her bracelet stayed caught on the body that Ava and Drew later moved and buried. Jack is still missing as far as Port Charles knows.

So the tape proves the kids were there. It cannot prove what happened after the cameras went dark. That gap is everything.

Will Carly Spencer Give Joe the Metro Court Footage?

Not this week, if I know Carly. Here is what nobody else is saying: this footage is a trade. Carly Spencer can only clear herself by aiming Joe at Valentin’s daughter and Jason’s son, and because the tape ends at the crash, it gives Joe two new suspects instead of an answer. That is why my money says her first move is Danny, not the cops.

Friday’s preview has Carly, with Valentin beside her, pleading, “We really need your help here. Please.” One recap guesses she means Danny. The same day, Danny makes a confession nobody has named, which we broke down in Danny’s two secrets.

Valentin Will Not Let That Tape Walk Out the Door

Remember who is holding Carly’s hand. Valentin already chose silence once this week, keeping the WSB drug secret from Lulu to protect Nina, as we laid out in Lulu’s libel case. Now the person on camera is his own daughter, safe at boarding school. Don’t be surprised if he asks Carly to sit on that file for good.

And Carly Spencer has her own reasons to stall. Danny is Jason’s son and the late Sam’s boy. Turning him in could cost her Jason, and that is the friendship Carly guards hardest.

What the Arrest Talk Really Says

Circulating spoiler chatter says it is possible Carly Spencer could be taken into custody, but that is a maybe with no date attached, not a confirmed beat. Other chatter thinks Dante Falconeri might step in for her. Dante just opened a PCPD file on Brennan over the WSB’s warning, so bending that case would cost him plenty.

My gut tells me Carly keeps the tape, Joe keeps digging, and the pressure lands on the two kids anyway. Track every turn in our two-week General Hospital spoilers.

Carly Will Take the Heat Before She Hands Over the Kids

Our take: Carly buries the tape, at least for now, and that choice is exactly what keeps her on Joe’s list. The secret she is protecting is not even hers, and that is the most Carly move imaginable.

Plus when Brennan’s body is found near the Quartermaine estate it could make Danny and Charlotte look even more guilty since Danny lives at the Quartermaines. So they could be accused of the ones who buried Brennan’s body since the evidence might point to them.
