DANNY’S SECRET FORCES JASON MORGAN TO CHOOSE BETWEEN HIS SON AND HIS TWIN

TL;DR: On Monday, November 2, Danny tells Jason Morgan he knows Jack Brennan is dead, on the day they mark Sam’s anniversary. His story points at Drew, Jason’s twin and the father of Danny’s sister. Does Jason shield his son or go after his brother?

Danny Picks the Hardest Day to Tell His Father

The General Hospital spoilers for Monday, November 2, put Jason Morgan and Danny Morgan side by side to mark the anniversary of Sam McCall‘s death. That is the same day the preview says Danny confesses to his father. Circulating spoiler chatter says what comes out: Danny tells Jason he knows for a fact that Jack Brennan is dead.

Here is what Jason has missed. On Friday, October 30, Danny told Carly Spencer and Valentin Cassadine that he and Charlotte Cassadine found Jack floating in the Metro Court pool, then nearly ran into Ava Jerome and Drew Cain on the way out. Ava and Drew never saw them. Carly and Valentin asked him to keep quiet, and then Carly landed beside a decomposing hand in the nature preserve, right where Ava and Drew buried Jack. Our October 30 recap has every grisly beat.

The Last Time Danny Came Clean, It Was About a Truck

This is the scene that makes Monday sting. On September 3, two days after the pool, Danny met his dad at the boathouse and confessed to taking a truck without permission and denting the bumper. Jason told him he was making reckless decisions and banned him from driving anything for six months. He laid down the law to keep his son safe, so Danny would never have to carry the weight of something he could not let go of.

Danny was already carrying it. That same day, he and Charlotte worked out that someone had moved Jack’s body. And Jason, the man who walked away from the mob in August so Danny would not follow in his footsteps, grounded his boy over a dented bumper while the real secret sat in the dirt.

So Monday is not Danny’s first confession to his father. It is the one he skipped, finally delivered on the anniversary of losing his mother. My gut tells me that hits Jason harder than the body does, and we saw the dam cracking in Danny’s confession.

Danny’s Story Points Straight at Drew

Now for the part that turns this into a family war. Drew is Jason’s identical twin and the father of Scout Cain, Danny’s half-sister through Sam. If Danny repeats what he told Carly, he puts his own uncle at the Metro Court that night.

And Drew did more than dig. On September 3, he planted Jack’s wallet under the seat of Nina Reeves‘s car. Jason already ordered Drew out of the Quartermaine gatehouse on October 26. Now Drew’s celebration on Friday, November 6, may be premature, as we flagged in Drew’s premature toast.

Will Jason Morgan Protect Danny or Go After Drew?

Nobody has spoiled what Jason Morgan does next, so here are his three roads. Road one: protect Danny and stay quiet. That keeps his son out of a police file, but it makes Jason one more person sitting on Jack’s death while Carly takes the heat.

Road two: go straight to Drew. Jason knows that preserve, since he moved a falcon nest there in October. But confronting his twin tips off Ava, who already has Alexis Davis working an angle for her, as we laid out in Ava lawyering up.

Road three: the PCPD. Jason Morgan found the virus that crashed the hotel’s security system, so he already holds a piece of this case. Taking Danny’s story to Joe Fitzpatrick clears Carly fastest and exposes Danny most.

Carly Is Already in Joe’s Flashlight

Jason may not get time to choose. The preview says Joe stops Valentin and Carly, and the promo line making the rounds has Joe asking, “You guys know you’re trespassing, right?” By Tuesday, Carly is in the hot seat, and a first look photo puts Carly and Jason together at the PCPD. The reason is still under wraps.

Then on Friday, Alexis gives Jason an earful and Dante Falconeri makes Carly a pitch. Carly’s lie to Joe is why every move counts, as we covered in Carly’s Metro Court tape and Carly’s grave discovery. Follow every day of it in our two-week General Hospital spoilers.

Jason Shields Danny First and Comes for Drew Second

Our take: Jason Morgan protects his son first, and nobody should be shocked. He gave up the mob for Danny. He is not walking that boy into the PCPD on the anniversary of his mother’s death.

Drew is another story. Jason does not need a badge to make his brother answer for the pool, the grave and the wallet, and Scout is the one who could pay for it. Team Protect Danny or Team Turn In Drew? Pick a side on our Facebook page.
