This General Hospital Recap catches Carly and Valentin’s grave discovery, Danny’s confession, and Heather Webber crashing the lounge.
CARLY TRIPS OVER JACK’S GRAVE IN THIS GENERAL HOSPITAL RECAP
TL;DR: This General Hospital Recap catches Carly Spencer face-planting onto a buried hand while Valentin Cassadine sniffs out death, and Danny Morgan spilling what he saw at the Metro Court. Elizabeth Webber nearly kisses Dante Falconeri over cupcakes, Jude Jacks begs for Phoebe, and Trina gets a creepy audience of one.

Carly Trips Over Jack’s Grave
It all starts with a hand. Outback is digging away at the nature preserve and, in what must be the least relaxing hike in Port Charles history, a human hand pokes out of the dirt. Nobody is there to scream yet, which is honestly a waste of a great entrance.
Meanwhile, back at the Quartermaine mansion, Carly Spencer and Valentin Cassadine are running a tiny, extremely illegal-feeling interrogation of Danny Morgan. They want to know what he saw at the Metro Court the night Jack Brennan vanished. Danny tries lying, which is adorable, until they remind him the security footage exists and he is on it.
So out it comes. Danny saw them sneaking into Drew Cain’s office, and he and Charlotte Cassadine were off for a swim. The pool came with a floating bonus: a very dead Brennan. The kids bolted, nearly bowled over Ava Jerome and Drew on the way out, and somehow nobody noticed. Carly and Valentin order Danny to keep his mouth shut, which is a bold request to make of a teenager who just watched a corpse bob.
Then comes a knock, or really a scratch, at the door. Outback trots in and drops a finger on the floor like a housecat presenting a mouse. Hand, then finger. This body is arriving in installments.
Later, Carly and Valentin stroll through the General Hospital nature preserve, where Valentin announces he can smell death. Carly, a woman who has survived explosions and Sonny, trips and goes face first onto the hand. Lulu’s libel lawsuit just got a very large, very buried exhibit.
Do you think Carly and Valentin turn this body over to the WSB, or does Ava’s name suddenly come up? Email us your take at amber@soapoperamagazine.com, we want to hear it.

Frosting, Feelings, and Lucas
Elizabeth Webber has frosting on her face, Dante Falconeri has a napkin and a dangerous amount of tenderness, and the doorbell is the only thing standing between them and a very bad idea. She handles trick-or-treaters while he decorates cupcakes for the community center, then their hands touch over a cupcake, and the temperature in that kitchen climbs about forty degrees.
Dante leaves when Lucas Jones arrives with a bottle, and Elizabeth watches him go like a woman reading the last page of a book. Lucas is no fool and demands to know what the heck happened. She blames sugar and her sadness over Aidan, swears she is happy with Ric Lansing, and insists the moment was entirely one-sided. Lucas, a doctor and a skeptic, does not buy it.
Over at Cafe Cherie, Ric admits to Lulu Spencer that his chat with Alexis Davis went nowhere. He can stall Willow Tait’s lawsuit all day, but Lulu has no interest in hiding behind delays, and he tells her to find proof that Sidwell’s story is true. He also warns that her source is shaky and Willow is beloved. Dante then asks Lulu to retract, since Elizabeth and Lucas would end up on the stand. Lulu refuses, and Dante watches her leave while thinking about Elizabeth, which tells you everything. Ric, meanwhile, strolls into Elizabeth’s place and gets a very eager kiss. The man has no idea.

Jude Jacks Wants His Daughter
Jason Morgan drops by to ask Josslyn Jacks about her cousin Jude Jacks. She has never met him. Her dad told her Jude was just like Jerry and to stay far away, and she did not know he existed until he was a grown man. Jason explains Jude is after Phoebe, and Joss promises to ask the family lawyers whether the WSB has a file on him.
Across town, Jude is begging Alexis not to hold his father’s crimes against him. Phoebe is his daughter, he says, and he has paperwork to prove it. He wanted a family, Delilah Wilson offered to help, and they did IVF. Alexis points out that Brook Lynn and Chase already ran a paternity test, and Jude calls it wrong. She suggests Delilah may have lied and gotten pregnant by someone else. Jude assumes she means Ethan Lovett and calls him a conman, and he offers a paternity test of his own.
Alexis says Brook Lynn and Chase would have to agree, which is unlikely. She cannot represent him, and she advises him to drop it. He will not, and he leaves with a parting line that his father says hi. Nothing says family reunion like a cheerful greeting from Jerry.

Trina’s Biggest Fan Arrives
Trina finds more flowers at the lounge from her “biggest fan,” which would be sweet if the fan were not terrifying. Kai pops up, Gio Palmieri and Emma arrive, and Patty informs them the club has been bought out for an audience of one.
The group decides to play it brave. Gio offers to perform alone, but Trina refuses to hide, because this person paid for a show and will get one. They perform, and the second the last note fades, Heather Webber strolls in, applauding. Of course she did.

Port Charles Is Digging Deeper
A hand is out of the ground, a finger is on the floor, and Carly has met the body in the most graceless way possible. Elizabeth is blaming sugar for feelings that look a lot like Dante. Jude has a lawyer problem and a very charming father, and Trina’s mystery fan turned out to be someone who gets her own entrance music. It is a Halloween week in Port Charles, so everything is buried, haunted, or both.
