Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Ridge Forrester Confronts Carter Walton Over Steffy’s Shocking Surrogacy

RIDGE FORRESTER CONFRONTS HIS COO AND BEST FRIEND OVER STEFFY’S BABY

TL;DR: Spoilers say Steffy tells Ridge Forrester and Taylor she is Carter and Daphne’s surrogate the week of November 2, and Ridge confronts Carter with one angry phone call: “Get over here right now.” The question is whether Ridge turns on his COO and best friend, in the same week Forrester needs a miracle.

Steffy Tells Her Parents and Ridge Picks Up the Phone

The newest Bold and the Beautiful spoilers have Ridge confronting Carter, and he doesn’t wait for a meeting. In the preview for November 2 to 6, Ridge Forrester stands in his daughter’s house, phones Carter Walton and snaps, “I’m at Steffy’s. Get over here right now.” He doesn’t sound pleased. Spoiler chatter says Carter looks completely freaked out by the call.

Here is how it gets there. John “Finn” Finnegan asks his wife when she plans to tell her parents she is carrying a baby for Carter and Daphne Rose Walton. Then Steffy Forrester Finnegan has Ridge and Taylor Hayes over to the cliff house. “You know you can tell us anything,” Taylor tells her.

Spoilers say Steffy tells them she is the surrogate. Nobody says she tells them anything more, and that is the part Carter has to protect. The preview cuts away before Carter walks through the door, so what Ridge says to his face is anybody’s guess.

Ridge Already Praised the Lie Without Knowing It

This is the detail that makes the phone call sting. On October 1, Ridge and Brooke Logan asked Daphne about her surrogate. She called her “a remarkable woman” and kept the name to herself. Ridge and Brooke gushed about what a good husband Carter is and what a good dad he would be. Ridge had no idea he was praising his own daughter.

Go back one more week. On September 22, before Finn left for his medical conference, he asked Ridge to watch over Steffy. While Finn was gone, the surrogacy went ahead, and on October 2 Carter announced the transfer. So the man Finn trusted to keep watch missed the whole thing. Ridge Forrester is not a man who forgets being made to look like a fool.

Does Ridge Find Out Steffy Is Carter and Daphne’s Surrogate?

Yes, and Ridge Forrester hears it from Steffy herself, the week of November 2. What he hears is the story Finn heard on October 19: Steffy as Carter and Daphne’s surrogate. No spoiler has Ridge learning about the night Steffy spent with Carter in August, or that she believes the baby is Carter’s.

So why is he so angry? Pick your reason: the size of the sacrifice for a married mother of two, Finn being out of town for the procedure, or Carter being the one who asked. Or Ridge, who has watched Steffy look rattled since September, senses this story has a hole in it.

Then there is the business. On October 29 Ridge called the Zende mess a nightmare, and on October 30 he told Brooke that Forrester is behind the eight ball and needs a miracle. We laid out the damage when spoilers first warned that Forrester was in trouble. Carter is the company’s chief operating officer. Losing him now, mid-war with Logan, would be a wound Ridge inflicts on himself.

Carter Has Lied to Tougher Rooms, but Never to This Man

Carter has survived Finn, who told Steffy “I get it” on October 26. He has survived Li, who heard a heartbeat that came through so strong, so early. Ridge is a different animal. He is Carter’s boss and his best friend, and he has forgiven Carter once already. In late 2024 Carter took control of Forrester, and in March 2025 he tore up the papers and handed it back.

Lawrence Saint-Victor warned this week that Ridge is “gonna lose his” temper, though he used a saltier word. Carter also has a doctor problem, with spoilers saying he needs a shady doctor to back the surrogacy story. One more nervous lie in front of Ridge Forrester could be the one that cracks.

My gut tells me Ridge doesn’t fire Carter on the spot. He needs him too badly. But don’t be surprised if this is the scene where Ridge starts counting weeks, and asking why his best friend can’t look him in the eye.
