Bold and the Beautiful Recap October 28: Melissa Dylan Tells Katie “I Don’t Want to Work With You”

MELISSA DYLAN TELLS KATIE “I DON’T WANT TO WORK WITH YOU. NOT LIKE THIS.” AS ERIC DOUBTS FORRESTER’S FUTURE

TL;DR: Katie told Melissa Dylan, “I know women like you. I know your type,” and Dylan answered, “I don’t want to work with you. Not like this.” Eric could not believe Zende left and admitted he wonders if Forrester has a future, and Wyatt met Darcy.

Melissa Dylan Tells Katie “Not Like This”

“I don’t want to work with you. Not like this.” That was Melissa Dylan to Katie on the Bold and the Beautiful recap October 28, and it was the answer nobody at Logan saw coming.

Tuesday ended with Dylan asking Katie Logan Spencer what she wants. Wednesday Katie told her.

It was a big announcement day at Logan, Katie said, and Dylan was one of the reasons Zende came. “So, thank you.” Then the gloves came off. “I’m pretty sure I know what you’re up to, Melissa.”

“You’re suspicious of me,” Dylan said. Katie figured the job push was a tactic to work on Will, sneered about how Dylan treated her best friend, and went further: “I know women like you. I know your type.”

Dylan loves working in fashion and had hoped this would work. Not at that price. She told Will’s mother she does not want to work there, and as she turned to leave, Katie scoffed, “Well played.”

Melissa Dylan Asks for Respect, Not Will’s Money

Out in the showroom, Will Spencer told Zende his mother has to give Dylan a position at Logan because she deserves it. Zende Forrester Dominguez had his own problem.

He panicked to Will over the headlines Katie put out about his family’s company, horrified at the approach and wondering if the attacks were necessary. He hates causing his family pain. “Especially my granddad.”

Back in the office, Katie kept up the gold-digger cracks. Dylan did not budge. She will not be relying on Will to support her, and all she wants is Katie’s respect. She hopes Katie will see one day that she is just as protective of Will’s heart as Katie is, and that their relationship is worthy.

Eric Forrester Wonders If Forrester Has a Future

At Forrester, Brooke Logan brought Eric Forrester and Donna Logan the Zende news. When she mentioned an inside source, Eric assumed she meant Hope. He could not believe his grandson left.

Then Brooke opened her laptop to the Zende announcement, and the three of them found the headlines about their company. Brooke ranted about Katie twisting the knife. Eric tried blaming Bill, and Brooke defended him. In her eyes, this is all on her sister.

Later Brooke asked Eric the hard one: is there hope for Forrester’s future? He has been asking himself the same thing. Keep our Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for the next two weeks close, because our Forrester in trouble spoilers have Ridge saying it out loud next.

Did Dylan Get the Job at Logan on Bold and the Beautiful?

No, and that was her call. Will pushed for it, Darcy told her to beg, and Katie answered with “I know your type.” Melissa Dylan walked away from the job and asked for Katie’s respect instead.

Wyatt Meets Darcy at the Beach House

On the beach house deck, Wyatt Spencer startled Darcy Dylan and joked about Will’s appeal to women. When she introduced herself, he wondered if she was Dylan’s sister. “Charmer,” she purred.

Darcy poured margaritas and told him Dylan was at Logan with Will and might soon work there. Wyatt cautioned her not to expect too much. Darcy, staying at the house at Will’s invitation, said Malibu beats her daughter’s tiny apartment. “Can you blame me?”

She invited him for a dip. He passed, noting she is different from her daughter.

Darcy called her girl a diamond in the rough, then brought up his coup with the Hope for the Future diamond. Wyatt laughed, “Are you stalking me?” She swore she had no romantic interest, and then he left.

Katie Logan Spencer Won the Argument and Lost the Room

Katie got the last word with “Well played,” but Dylan got the better one. A gold-digger does not walk away from a paycheck she needs, and every person in Katie’s orbit, from her son to her newest star, now has a reason to wonder what this war is costing. I say Will hears about “I know your type” before the week is out, and Katie will not like how it sounds coming back.
