Sheila Carter never makes a move without a map, so treat this kiss as a delivery, not a romance. She turns up at Deacon Sharpe’s place, announces there is one thing she would really like, and pulls him in. Deacon, who knows better, does not pull away. If this is a reunion, it is the strangest reunion in L.A., because Sheila has never wanted anything for the romance alone.

Remember the last time she got close to this family. Steffy Forrester flew back from Monaco after seeing Sheila, and Finn promised his wife that Sheila is gone. Finn spoke too soon. She has simply found a new front door, and this one comes with a man who never learned how to say no to a woman with a plan, a sly smile, and a very good reason to be standing on his doorstep.

Deacon Is Tied To Everyone Sheila Wants

Deacon is the father of Hope Logan, with Brooke Logan, and Brooke is in the middle of a war with her sister while Hope stands on the other side of it. Taylor Hayes turned down his proposal but kept him around. Sheila once let herself into the cliff house with a knife in her hand and found Deacon and Taylor in bed, and she signed his divorce papers only after demanding a seat at Finn’s family table.

That makes Deacon the one man with a chair at every table she cares about. Sheila Carter doesn’t need to storm the gates when she can be waved through them by someone’s boyfriend.

Taylor’s Dinner Table Is The Prize

Finn is already asking Steffy when she plans to tell her parents, and Steffy invites Taylor and Ridge Forrester over for dinner. Taylor can tell something is wrong and insists Steffy can tell them anything. Whatever Steffy confesses, Ridge hates it, and he orders Carter Walton over on the spot.

Now picture who would love to know what was said at that dinner. A woman who has spent months lurking around Finn’s life and begging for a spot in it would give anything for that conversation. Deacon, with Taylor’s ear and Taylor’s late-night phone calls, is the pipeline. Steffy’s lie has never had a worse listener. Deacon may not even know he is carrying it. He only has to mention that Taylor seemed rattled, that Steffy looked pale, that Ridge stormed off, and Sheila can do the rest of the math herself. She has always been terrifyingly good at arithmetic when the sum is somebody else’s ruin.
