BILLY SETS RULES FOR ADAM IN THIS Y&R CANADIAN DAY-AHEAD
TL;DR: This Y&R Canadian Day-Ahead sends Billy Abbott to Adam Newmanโs door with firm opinions about baby Ruby, while Nikki Newman and Diane Jenkins declare war over cosmetics, Nate Hastings gets caught hugging his boss, Abby Winters sits on possible big news, and Kyle Abbott and Victoria Newman swear this is the last time. Want the bigger picture? Our Y&R spoilers have it all.

Billy Abbott Brings Rules to Adam Newmanโs Door
This Y&R Canadian Day-Ahead opens with a house call nobody put on the calendar. Billy Abbott strolls into Adam Newmanโs place, and Adam, who had been having a perfectly nice afternoon, greets him by asking whether all that grateful hand-shaking was a big show. He assumes Billy has arrived to say what he really thinks. Billy has indeed, though he insists the gratitude was real. He still believes what Adam did for Sally was heroic. Itโs the โbutโ that spoils it.
Billy has noticed that Adam is having a very hard time staying away from Ruby. Adam tells him not to be paranoid. There are no secret baby summits, he says. He returned a bootie and burped a child, and apparently that now counts as a crime. He fires back that Billy is emotionally fragile and hunting for trouble. Billy stays steady. He will be grateful forever that Adam helped bring Ruby into the world, but she is not a replacement for the daughter Adam lost, and he knows how quickly grief can come roaring back. Letting go of any idea that he has a role in Rubyโs life might be how Adam heals. At least the bootie is finally getting its day in court.
Then comes the rule: Billy makes it clear that Adam is not welcome at his house unless Billy has invited him. Chelsea Lawson walks in at the tail end, and Billy says they were getting on the same page before he heads for the door. Chelsea, who has asked for full disclosure more than once this week, has just wandered into the sequel. Adam, meanwhile, drifts away from her, which is never a great sign when somebody is supposed to be getting on a page.

Nate Hastings Hugs the Wrong Person
Over at Memorial, Nate Hastings runs into Stephanie Simmons in the corridor and gushes about being back. He owes it all to her, he says, and heโll be consulting before his license comes through and itching to get into the operating room. Stephanie announces she is heading out for a few weeks to visit Holden Novak and Malcolm Winters, because she missed so much of her sonโs growing up and wants to be present now. Nate admires her for putting family first, and they hug right there in the hall.
Enter Dr. Andrew Bishop, who notes that Nate has wasted no time settling in. Once Stephanie leaves to talk to a board member, Andrew finally understands how Nate talked his way back into the building. Nate accuses him of caring more about awards than patients. Andrew replies that whether Nate can dissect a frog is his concern, and Nateโs love life is not. Stephanie returns, Nate apologizes, and she agrees they should skip the corridor hugs from now on. Nate frets about who will question his return, and she tells him to have no doubts. Rule one of workplace romance: never hug where a rival surgeon can see. Rule two: see rule one.

Victoria Newman Comes Home With Souvenirs
At the Newman ranch, Victoria Newman gets hugged by everybody. Nikki Newman hopes she got to enjoy London, and Victor Newman was impressed by her negotiations. Everyone is thrilled sheโs back, and then they scatter to work. Nick Newman wonders if his sister has something she wants to talk about. She insists sheโs fine and asks about Matt Clark. Nick keeps it vague, admits some days are challenging, and says he is feeling good.
When their dad returns, Nick launches into restructuring workflows while Victoria nods along, thinking about what she was doing in London. Nothing says efficient operations like a mind thatโs several thousand miles away.
Kyle Abbott Comes Home Vague
At the Abbott estate, Jack Abbott and Diane Jenkins welcome their son Kyle Abbott home. Kyle says he hoped to accomplish more in London, but it was time to come back. They fill him in on baby Ruby and on the new ants belonging to Harrison Abbott. Jack brags that Diane has a genius new campaign and is bringing back some former models for a throwback photoshoot. They both think Diane should be in front of the camera too.
Then Jack asks what Kyle was doing in London, and Kyle gets very vague very fast, his brow furrowing hard enough to need its own acquisition report. Diane asks whether he stumbled across Victoria while he was there. Alone, he texts Victoria that he misses her, and she answers immediately with ideas for what they can do next.
Abby Winters Hears Maybe
At Society, Abby Winters tells Chelsea she never thought she could get pregnant, but miracles happen, even if this is probably wishful thinking. Sheโd run to tell Devon Winters, but heโs off in Maryland. Chelsea urges her to take a test. Abby doesnโt want to jinx anything and decides to sit on it for a while.
Then the talk turns to Chelsea, who didnโt want a baby, then again, maybe she does. She worries Adam is being swallowed by grief and thinks a child could save him. Abby asks whether sheโs afraid Adam will be pulled back toward Sally Spectra, and Chelsea insists she isnโt. Abby is sure theyโll make it through with or without a baby. Chelsea has gone from โabsolutely notโ to โmaybeโ faster than a Genoa City wedding turns into a delivery room.

Nikki Newman Starts a Cosmetics War
At Crimson Lights, Diane talks to Esther Valentine about shooting Jabotโs throwback campaign there, since itโs one of the few places in town that hasnโt changed in decades. Then Nikki arrives, ready to sneer. She boasts that Vibrante will blow Jabot out of the water, accuses Diane of being desperate for the spotlight again, and calls Jabot โso last century.โ Diane insists they are relevant and will prove they have a real legacy. She says Nikki chases trends instead of creating them and warns that sheโll end up in the bargain bin. The bargain bin line is a felony in the beauty aisle.
Nikki storms back to the ranch to tell Victor the competition has stepped up, and he is certain they have no chance against her. Diane tells Jack she will model after all, determined to prove Jabot is a powerhouse in every respect, and heโs sure they canโt lose with her. These two women have a history that includes a rock, a faked death, and a surprise return, so a cosmetics feud is practically cozy.
