The Young and the Restless
EXCLUSIVE TUESDAY Y&R CANADIAN DAY-AHEAD: Adam Wants A Baby, Chelsea Wants Stability, And Billy Wants To Have A Serious Talk About Ruby
The Y&R Canadian Day-Ahead puts Adam’s baby wish, a Jabot throwback, and a possible pregnancy scare on a collision course.
ADAM, CHELSEA, AND BILLY DOMINATE THIS Y&R CANADIAN DAY-AHEAD
TL;DR: A baby wish, a plea for stability, and one very serious talk about Ruby all collide in this Y&R Canadian Day-Ahead, with a lipliner comeback and a suspicious dizzy spell thrown in for sport. Want more of what’s coming? Check out our Young and the Restless spoilers for the next two weeks.

Nothing Says Romance Like Asking For Baby Number Two
Tuesday’s Y&R episode opens at the Newman Ranch, where Adam Newman has decided the only thing missing from a perfectly lovely house is a nursery. In this Y&R Canadian Day-Ahead, he asks Chelsea Lawson to consider having another child, and she is startled to discover he is dead serious. She thought they had agreed against this, but Adam points to how empty the house feels since their son left, how incredible they are as parents, and how much room there is. Subtle, he is not.
Chelsea does the math fast. She suspects this is really about Ruby, calls that “very concerning,” and points out that even Victor Newman thinks it is bizarre how close Adam feels to the baby. When Victor is the voice of reason in your marriage, it is time to rethink the plan.
She also refuses to have a baby simply because Sally Spectra had one. Adam calls that unfair and insists his OCD is under control, but Chelsea worries a baby could throw things off. She reminds him that the last time baby talk came up was when Sally got pregnant. Chelsea has receipts, and she is not shy about using them.
Adam swears none of this has anything to do with Ruby, yet Chelsea can see his heart is broken by “angel girl,” and she feels for him. He knows he cannot bring back Ava, but he wants to recapture what he missed out on with their son. “Moments I stole from you, right?” she asks, and just like that, they are back to the lie she told about Adam not being their son’s father. She is still plagued by guilt and hates having ancient history thrown in her face. Adam insists it is not ancient. Chelsea hopes he still thinks what they have with their son is enough, then walks out, which is a mic drop with a front door.
Her exit does not leave Adam alone for long, though, because Billy Abbott has plans for his afternoon.

Somebody Please Hand Abby A Ginger Ale
Over at Society, Devon Winters stops in to see his wife, Abby Winters, on his way to Maryland. They chat about what a devoted fan Lily Winters is, Abby wishes she could tag along, and the two of them hope for no tornadoes this time. Nothing says marital bliss like weather-related trauma bonding.
Devon admits he is worried about dealing with someone on the trip, though Abby is sure he can handle it. He is more concerned about his school. Then Abby gets dizzy, has to sit down, and admits she has been feeling nauseous. Devon offers to cancel his trip, but she assumes she picked up a bug from their son. On daytime, a sudden dizzy spell is never a bug, and the writers’ room is probably high-fiving somewhere.
Devon suggests a holiday family vacation, but Abby says the restaurant will be too busy. He urges her to let someone else run things, and that talks her around. Once he leaves, Chelsea comes in wanting a drink, and Abby guesses something is up. Chelsea fumbles through everything Adam has been feeling, including his wish for another baby, and insists she will not do it because Sally had one. As Chelsea goes over the symptoms of pregnancy, Abby starts to wonder whether she might be pregnant. Chelsea came in for a drink and may leave with a diagnosis for somebody else.
Lily Is Asked To Pucker Up For The Past
At Crimson Lights, Lily and Diane Jenkins are sharing coffee when Cane Ashby joins them, right in time for Diane’s once-in-a-lifetime proposition. Jabot Classic is releasing vintage lipliner, and Diane wants Lily, the fresh face of Jabot back in the day. The shoot is tomorrow, but Lily has a recording session. Diane offers to work around her schedule and leaves her to think it over, because nothing motivates a woman like a lipliner on the line.
Cane thinks Lily should do it, because the world would be deprived if she didn’t. Lily says modeling is behind her, but he argues it could be fun and would be a one-time thing. He reminds her it would bring back memories of when they first fell in love, and calls it a way to celebrate her past and future. Cane got a “too soon” on Monday, but he is clearly a man who can work with a no.
Lily teases him about looking for an excuse to get back to her place, and he tells her how much he will miss her. They joke around until she agrees to take Diane up on her offer, and then they kiss. Devon walks in and scowls until he and his sister exit. Nothing kills the mood quite like a disapproving brother, and Devon’s glare is a whole mood.

Brotherly Love Comes With A Side Of Interrogation
At Billy and Sally’s place, Jack Abbott drops by to see Ruby and her parents. He asks his brother how things went in London, and Billy says it was good that he went, but he did not get to sort things out with his mother. Diane joins them, and they chat some more about Jill Abbott. Then Billy spills that he ran into Kyle Abbott in London, which surprises Jack and Diane, who admit their son has been cagey about the details of that trip. Nothing says “I have nothing to hide” quite like a mysterious silence.
They move on to diaper changing and Jill’s recovery, and Jack wonders what Billy is planning to do with his future. The ladies head off to change the baby, leaving the brothers to a conversation that goes sideways fast. Jack points out there has been no follow-up since his offer to fund Billy, and Billy has been distracted. He wonders whether Billy is interested or going back to trying to take Chancellor back. He has also heard Billy say something about “solving the riddle” and worries about what that means. Billy refuses to be pressured and walks out, because nothing says brotherly love like leaving mid-sentence.
Sally returns, confused about where her husband went. She calls him a good dad, guesses he is concerned about his brother, and admits she has worries of her own. Billy has confided that he has doubts he can reconcile with his mom, but Jack is sure Sally and Ruby are his brother’s primary focus right now. Jack may be right, but Billy has one more stop to make.

Adam Gets An Unexpected Houseguest
Back at the Newman Ranch, Adam is startled when Billy walks into his house. Billy has apparently decided that doorbells are for people with time to waste. Adam spent his afternoon campaigning for a baby of his own, and now a man with a serious agenda has strolled into his home. Billy explains he is there to talk about his baby. After everything Billy heard about Adam’s visit, that sentence is going to land like a thunderclap.

I think Adam should respect both Chelsea and Billy; He should respect Chelsea by not pressuring her into having another baby just because delivering Ruby brought back painful memories of losing Ava. He should respect Billy by not second guessing his father skills and abilities. Because Adam killed Delia all those years ago, Billy will always hate him and he needs to stop interfering with Billy and Sally’s marriage.
