ADAM GETS CALLED OUT IN THIS Y&R CANADIAN DAY-AHEAD
TL;DR: Adam Newman gets summoned to the ranch, called out by Victor Newman, and floats the idea of another baby with Chelsea Lawson in this Y&R Canadian Day-Ahead, while Cane Ashby asks Lily Winters to move in and Billy Abbott hears that Adam paid Sally Spectra a visit. Want the bigger picture? Our Y&R spoilers for the next two weeks have it all.

Adam Newman Gets Summoned for Breakfast and Leaves Talking About Another Baby
This Y&R Canadian Day-Ahead opens with the most ominous phrase in the Newman family vocabulary: breakfast at the ranch. Adam Newman and Chelsea Lawson arrive, and Chelsea admits her stomach always drops when Victor Newman summons them. Adam insists it is only breakfast. That sentence has never once been true in this town.
Nikki Newman joins them, and the meal starts out civil, with talk of Connor Newman and how wonderful Victor is with kids. Then Victor asks his son about visiting Sally Spectra and the baby, and Adam and Chelsea go on edge. Everyone agrees he must have bonded with the little girl after delivering her. Victor adds that Billy Abbott is Adamโs enemy and Adam has no business visiting his family. Adam does not appreciate that his father had a tail put on him, and Victor calls it a dangerous game that could set Billy off.
Adam does not think smiling at a baby is a crime. Nikki explains that they are worried because of Ava, and Adam figures his brother Nick Newman told them what happened. He says he was checking on the baby to be a decent person. Victor asks Chelsea what she thinks. She says she and Adam have talked about Ava and his grief, and that he stepped up at the wedding, so she is proud of how heroic he was. Victor chews. Whether that is approval or digestion remains unclear.
Adam is still fuming that his father is spying on him to protect him, and he says that is not love, it is distrust. Victor insists it does not bode well for Adam to be friendly with the competition and that he is right. Adam is upset that his father still will not take him at his word. Nikki stands up for her husband, and Adam tells Victor that if he wants to know what he is up to, he should ask, although Adam might not tell him. Then he leads Chelsea out.
Once they are gone, Nikki tells Victor that scene got messier than it needed to be and asks whether he is worried Adam will go back to Sally. She does not think he needs to be. Victor remains afraid it will only get worse. Sally and the baby mean a lot to Adam, Billy being the babyโs father raises the stakes, and Adam clearly never told Chelsea.
Back home, Adam complains that it is crazy his father considers a baby a threat. Chelsea asks why he did not tell her he went to see them without her. Adam paces and cannot come up with an answer, and she tells him to figure it out, because they have to discuss these things. He says he worried she would get the wrong idea, and Chelsea points out that not telling her is what gave her the wrong idea. She demands every detail, so Adam walks her through burping the baby and Ruby falling asleep on his shoulder.
Somewhere in the retelling, the story gets him thinking about their life, and he floats a suggestion: maybe they should have another child. This is the same man who told Sally days earlier that it was not likely in the cards. Funny what a sleeping newborn will do to the five-year plan.

Cane Ashby Surprises Lily Winters With a Move-In Question
Cane Ashby surprises Lily Winters at the GCAC, and the two sit down to talk about Jill Abbott. Cane reports that Jill is slowly regaining her strength and Snapper is cautiously optimistic, though there was a moment when they nearly said goodbye. Cane admits he was jealous of everyone who has so many more memories of her, and he is not ready to let her go. They talk about how Billy handled the situation, and Cane adds that the kids texted him while he was there, which meant a lot to him and to Jill. Lily says Billy has changed so much since Delia, and she hopes he knows what is important now.
Then Lily tells Cane she has missed him, and he does not waste a second. โThen why donโt we live together?โ he asks, because she is the sun, moon, and stars to him, and Cane skips the small talk and heads straight for the lease. Lily says it is too soon. Cane does not want to waste any more time after all the recent scares. He explains that he got to tell Jill everything he feels about her, how much he admires the way she treated his father, and that she has been a lesson he wants to live up to. Lily thinks that is wonderful, but they should wait, because she does not want to live in fear that it could always be the end. She needs more time, and she assures him he will know when the time is right.

Billy Abbott Comes Home to a Foot Rub and a Bootie
At home, Billy kisses Sally and tells her how much he missed her and the baby. He picks up Ruby, and they marvel at how much she has grown, because Ruby is acing all the baby things. Sally has been taking her for walks, which was hard, but she needed to be brave. They wonder whether Billy can finally stop fighting everyone. (Billy Abbott, retired from fighting? We will see.) Then Sally asks for a foot rub and a full report on London, and as he rubs, she drifts off, feeling like all is right in her world and she can finally relax.
Billy fills her in on the sights and the hospital. He admits he wandered into the chapel, and the whole stretch is a blur. Jillโs numbers slowly got better, and they could breathe easier. Sally does not think he sounds relieved. He is, but he has to wonder what is next. Billy has started to worry that the conversation he and Jill need to have will never happen, because they fought and she nearly died, and if something happens to her, that could be his fault. He wants peace with her before it is too late, but he is not sure it will happen. He is determined to be open and honest with his own kids. Maybe that is enough, and Ruby will have an amazing life without ever being a carny.
Then Sally mentions that Adam came by. โDid he now?โ Billy grunts. She explains that Adam was only returning Rubyโs bootie, and Billy worries that Adam has boundary issues and attachment issues. Sally insists this will not be a problem. โIf you say so,โ he says. A bootie. Adorable. Also, in soap terms, the most suspicious piece of baby clothing in Genoa City.
