CURTIS ASHFORD JUST HANDED JUSTINE THE WRONG SUSPECT — AND PORT CHARLES IS ABOUT TO PAY

TL;DR: Curtis Ashford has officially named Dr. Isaiah Gannon as his prime suspect in Jordan’s crash on General Hospital — but the real driver is sitting at the Quartermaine breakfast table. As Portia and Isaiah enjoy a calm night out, the noose is tightening around the wrong man, and Mayor Laura Collins already sees it.

Curtis Ashford’s Pursuit of Isaiah Gannon Has Crossed Into Personal

On the April 28 episode of General HospitalCurtis Ashford pulled Acting D.A. Justine Turner aside in the GH corridor and told her exactly what he wanted her to do — investigate Dr. Isaiah Gannon as the second driver in the Route 91 crash that nearly killed Jordan Ashford. He had no proof. He had a hunch and a hatred. Reading between the lines, that should have been Justine’s first red flag — but she’s Jordan’s friend, too, and she’s running with it.

The forensic case is thin. PCPD pulled a paint scrape off the opposing guardrail on April 22 — black, German-made vehicle. Isaiah drives a black SUV. So does at least one other person in Port Charles, and that detail is conveniently being skipped over. The Acting D.A. has now built her entire pursuit on a coincidence, a grudge, and a man who stopped to help a sick child instead of staying home with his pregnant girlfriend. The whole thing reeks of motivated reasoning, and Justine should know better.

A Parking Garage Scratch That’s About to Look Like a Crash

Isaiah told Lucas Jones on April 28 that he sideswiped a corner of a parking garage and scraped the passenger side of his SUV. That’s the truth. He was at Lulu Spencer‘s home the night of the crash, treating Rocco Falconeri‘s infected hand off the books — a favor Isaiah promised to keep quiet for Lulu’s sake. Now spoilers tease that Isaiah’s parking-garage scrape is going to read as consistent with the markings on the guardrail. If that holds, Isaiah is being railroaded for a crime he was nowhere near, and his only alibi is a teenage patient he swore he wouldn’t talk about. This has all the makings of a wrongful-arrest storyline that’s going to drag in half of Port Charles before it’s done.

Meanwhile, the actual second driver is hiding in plain sight. Brook Lynn Quartermaine had been drinking wine at Deception with Lucy Coe before racing out to catch Gio Palmieri‘s set at Charlie’s. She was on Route 91. Her paint is on that guardrail. And on April 28, Tracy Quartermaine lied straight to Harrison Chase‘s face, telling him Brook Lynn’s car was being detailed alongside her own. The Quartermaine cover-up is in motion, and Curtis Ashford has no clue he’s been pointed at the wrong door.

While Portia and Isaiah Enjoy the Calm Before the Storm

May spoilers tease that Portia Robinson and Isaiah will enjoy a night on the town this month — the calm before the storm. It’s a haunting setup. Portia is days away from giving birth to Curtis’s baby. Isaiah is the man helping raise that baby. And Curtis is actively working to put Isaiah in handcuffs before the cradle is even assembled. My gut tells me Curtis isn’t going to slow down until somebody he respects forces him to.

That somebody already tried. On April 29, Mayor Laura Collins confronted Curtis Ashford to his face. She reminded him it was a single-car accident, that Jordan herself caused the swerve, and that the second driver may not have even known a crash occurred. Then she landed the dagger — he doesn’t want justice, he wants it to be Isaiah specifically. Curtis admitted he didn’t like Isaiah being part of his baby’s life. The mask slipped. Something tells me when this all unravels, Laura’s words are going to ring in his ears for a long, long time.

If I know these General Hospital writers, Curtis Ashford is heading straight into a humiliation arc — the kind where you watch him realize, scene by scene, that he weaponized a hit-and-run investigation to punish his ex-wife’s boyfriend while his own great-niece-by-marriage was the actual fleeing driver all along. Mark my words — when Brook Lynn finally cracks, every accusation Curtis spent weeks building is going to land squarely back on him, and Portia is going to make him pay.

Drop your theory in the comments below — Are you Team Justice for Isaiah, or Team Curtis Has a Right to Be Angry? Sound off, debate it out, and tell us who you think breaks first: Brook Lynn, Tracy, or Curtis himself!
