The Bold and the Beautiful
Daddy’s Gut Is Screaming! Will B&B’s Ridge Forrester Crack Steffy’s Surrogacy Lie When The Math Won’t Math?
Ridge Forrester has a fainting daughter, a silent best friend and a surrogacy story that does not add up on Bold and the Beautiful.
RIDGE FORRESTER SMELLS A LIE AND WANTS THE TRUTH NOW
TL;DR: B&B’s Ridge Forrester has a fainting daughter, a silent best friend and a surrogacy story that refuses to add up, and the dressmaker is done being polite.

A Fainting Daughter Is Not A Coincidence To A Father
Ridge Forrester does not believe a word of the official story, and the heap that used to be Steffy Forrester on the cliff house floor is Exhibit A. Steffy sobbed, swayed and went down, then came around on the couch and blamed her parents’ disappointment and shock. Finn swallowed that like a golden retriever swallows a tennis ball. Taylor Hayesadmitted it all felt off. But Ridge is the one who said it out loud: none of this is OK, and something is definitely off with his daughter. Finn wants feelings in the backseat so Steffy avoids stress, which is a sweet idea from a man who has not asked one hard question. A grown woman does not faint over a favor for friends, and Steffy has already shown she can tell her parents a story and still shake like a leaf while doing it. Taylor saw it too, and Ridge knows his daughter’s tells better than anyone. That is how a lie looks when it runs out of oxygen, and a father’s gut knows the difference.
Carter Walton Skipped The Best Friend Briefing
Here is what really sets Ridge’s blood pressure climbing. Carter Walton is his bestie, the man across the net at tennis, the one Ridge asked point-blank about Daphne Rose and the surrogacy. Carter’s answer was “There might be some news soon.” News! Like a weather report. Ridge hasn’t heard the real story, but he has noticed that his best friend, who usually tells him everything, told him nothing, and then showed up on Steffy’s doorstep with Daphne glowing beside him like a bodyguard made of sunshine. Carter had every chance: a tennis court, a quiet moment, a single sentence. He took none of them. Ridge has already called it disrespect “yet again” and “a pattern.” Does he stop at a lecture? Ridge Forrester has never let a mystery sit quietly in the corner.

The Math Is Not Mathing
Ridge doesn’t know the real math. Viewers do: a drunken August night and a very awkward couch. All he knows is that the story keeps changing shape. First there was a surrogacy nobody discussed. Then Finn learned about it in installments. Now Steffy has a bump, a heartbeat that surprised two doctors in the family, and a collapse that arrived right on cue. The dressmaker has spent a lifetime reading fabric for flaws, and this one has more loose threads than a bargain bin. He is a bloodhound in a Forrester suit. Ask him to count backward from a due date and see what happens, because the man designs for a living and knows exactly how long things take to get made. When did this procedure supposedly happen, who signed off, and why is nobody volunteering a single detail?
Where Does He Dig First?
If Finn lets the early heartbeat slip, or Taylor leans harder on her instincts, Ridge will have threads to pull. Does he corner Carter alone, away from Daphne and her sunshine? Does he lean on Steffy until she cracks? And what happens to everyone’s neat little miracle when Ridge Forrester decides turning a blind eye is for other people?

Who Cracks First, Steffy Or Carter?
Somebody in that living room is carrying a secret that weighs more than a baby, and the one man who will not drop it has found his second wind. Steffy fainted, Carter sweated, and Ridge Forrester started doing math. Daphne, bless her, is still picking out nursery fabric swatches, blissfully unaware. When the numbers do not add up, does the truth come out in a shouting match, or in a quiet moment with one very stubborn father?
