The Bold and the Beautiful
Will B&B’s Taylor Hayes Join Forces With Li Finnegan When Steffy’s Surrogacy Story Stops Adding Up?
Taylor Hayes is about to hear Steffy’s surrogacy story on Bold and the Beautiful, and one mother could team up with Li to crack it wide open.
TAYLOR HAYES KNOWS PREGNANCY WELL ENOUGH TO SMELL THIS LIE
TL;DR: B&B’s Taylor Hayes is about to hear Steffy’s “surrogacy” story over lunch, and this wild speculation asks whether she and Li Finnegan team up to crack it, with more Bold and the Beautiful spoilers coming as it unfolds.

Mommy And Daddy Are Coming To Lunch
Taylor Hayes has felt something off about her daughter for weeks, and she is about to sit down to lunch with the answer. She told Finn that Steffy Forrester had not been herself since Monaco, noticed the exhaustion, and watched her daughter hide the celery, all before anyone confessed a thing. Now Steffy has summoned her and Ridge Forrester on short notice, and Taylor spends the meal watching her daughter edge toward another panic attack while Finn rambles about his conference.
Steffy’s small talk is not fooling anybody who raised her. She dodged the question about anything exciting, offered that the kids are happy to be back at school, and kept stalling until Taylor finally demanded to know why they were there. That is a mother who has run out of patience, and Steffy is minutes from handing her a story built to break.
The spoilers say it goes badly. Ridge and Taylor are blindsided, Ridge summons Carter Walton to the house, and by Thursday Taylor is pushing Steffy to come clean.

A Mother Who Counts Weeks
Would Taylor Hayes really buy this “surrogacy” story? She has been pregnant more than once, and the family tree lists Jack Marone as Brooke Logan’s son, carried by Taylor. She has lived the real thing and the borrowed-baby version, which makes this lunch like handing a sommelier a juice box and calling it a vintage.
Taylor may not be the one holding the heartbeat monitor, but she can count weeks and she can read a daughter. She will ask the questions only a woman who has done this would think of. Why does Steffy flinch every time the baby comes up? Why was her own mother the last to hear? And why does Carter, of all people, look like a man waiting on a verdict?
Li Already Has Her Doubts
Li Finnegan heard a heartbeat that was “so strong so early” and glared at Steffy through the whole announcement. She told Finn that surrogacy demands far more monitoring than anyone had mentioned. Finn explained it away and moved on, but his mother never bought a word.
Put Steffy’s mother and Finn’s mother in a room and all that is missing is a coffee and a hunch. Taylor brings a gut feeling that has been ringing since Monaco, and Li brings sharp medical instincts and a very good memory. They compare notes on the early heartbeat, the lunch, the panic attack and a daughter who keeps saying everything will go back to normal. Somewhere across town, Carter paces and sweats, certain it will work out, while Daphne Rose picks fabric for a nursery.

Two Mothers, One Very Bad Secret
Steffy has hidden this from a husband who is a doctor, but she has never had to hide anything from two mothers at once. Finn is still processing, so he has not asked the questions that Taylor and Li will. Taylor Hayes has spent a career listening for what patients leave out, and a daughter who leaves out this much is practically shouting. If they compare calendars, count back from that heartbeat and look at who has been sweating through his shirt, the “surrogacy” starts to look like a very small story wearing a very big coat. Ridge may bellow and Carter may sweat, but the quiet conversation between two mothers is the one that should keep everyone awake.

Who Spots It First?
If Taylor Hayes sits down with Li and starts connecting dots, this whole sham can be blown wide open before the baby has a nursery.
