Days of our Lives Superstar Alison Sweeney Announces Her Own Podcast ‘Between Takes with Ali Sweeney’
Alison Sweeney announces her own podcast, Between Takes with Ali Sweeney, and Days of Our Lives fans get a front-row seat to the chats.
ALISON SWEENEY TAKES HER DAYTIME CROWN TO THE PODCAST WORLD
TL;DR: The Queen of Daytime is trading Salem scandals for a microphone with her new podcast, Between Takes with Ali Sweeney. Victor Webster is the first guest, and fans of Days of Our Lives spoilers have a new reason to hit play.

A Queen of Daytime Tries Something New
Alison Sweeney has handed Sami Brady a death sentence, a sham wedding to a DiMera and enough lies to fill a library, so a podcast sounds almost relaxing. The actress announced her new venture with a video and a caption that opens with โTrying something new,โ promising easygoing conversations with her friends and listening links in her bio.
The clip keeps things simple. She leans on a directorโs chair beneath the title card for Between Takes with Ali Sweeney and tells viewers she plans to share it with every last one of them. No cliffhanger, no evil twin and not a single man named Stan.

A Woman Who Talks for a Living
Podcasting is hardly a stretch. Alison Sweeney was a Salem fixture from 1993 to 2014, hosted The Biggest Loser from 2007 to 2015 and even played a podcast host in her Chronicle Mysteries movies on Hallmark. This is less a career pivot and more method acting.
Plenty of Salem Material
Salem has plenty for her to chew on in the meantime. Her kids, Johnny DiMera and Sydney DiMera, are knee-deep in family trouble, and their father, EJ DiMera, has disowned Johnny. Somebody should book that conversation immediately.
A Familiar Face Opens the Guest List
The first episode brings in Victor Webster, who passed through Salem as Nicholas Alamain in 1999 and 2000 before becoming a Hallmark regular.
Fans in the replies are already asking whether the episodes will land on YouTube, and one commenter is joking that he was edited out of the trailer. Alison Sweeney has clearly started something.
Between the iconic Sami energy and a microphone, the Queen of Daytime has built a cozy corner where she gets to ask the questions for once, and Alison Sweeneyโs fans are going to want a seat.
