LULU SPENCER ASKED VALENTIN AND CARLY FOR PROOF, AND THEY ARE HIDING IT TO PROTECT NINA

TL;DR: On Monday, October 26, Lulu asked Valentin and Carly to help prove the WSB had the paralytic drug at the center of Willow’s libel suit. They said yes, then agreed in private to keep what they already know quiet to protect Nina. On Friday, October 30, Lulu gets disappointing news.

Lulu Begged for Help at the Worst Possible Table

Lulu Spencer‘s libel case needs one thing: proof that the WSB had the paralytic drug her article says Willow used on Drew. On Monday, October 26, on General Hospital, she went looking for it at the one table in Port Charles where it was already sitting. On Friday, October 30, she gets disappointing news.

The night started badly. Lulu walked up on Valentin Cassadine and Carly Spencer at dinner, furious that Charlotte Cassadine, away at boarding school, has been texting Carly and not her. Tracy Quartermaine pulled her away before it got uglier.

Then came the business. Lulu told Tracy that Willow Cain had called her bluff: retract or go to court. Jenz Sidwell now calls his quotes a medication-fueled fantasy, Drew Cain isn’t talking and Jack Brennan is missing.

Her answer was simple. Prove the WSB had the drug, tie it to Brennan, and the article stands. Tracy told her to swallow her pride and ask someone close to Brennan. Every beat is in our October 26 recap.

The Proof Lulu Needs Was Sitting Across From Her

Lulu apologized and asked Valentin and Carly to help build her defense. Valentin agreed to ask WSB researchers about the drug. The moment she left, Carly reminded him they already know all about it. Valentin refused to tell Lulu. Coming clean, he said, would be catastrophic for Nina Reeves, his ex-wife.

Here is why. On May 8, Valentin stormed the house where Willow kept Drew and fought Brennan over a gun. Nina grabbed the syringe of Drew’s medication, and in the struggle Brennan got the needle instead. He landed in the hospital, and days later Carly threatened to tell the police what happened at Willow’s house.

Now Nina sits in WSB custody, blamed for Brennan’s disappearance after Drew planted Brennan’s wallet in her car. Valentin has schemed to free Nina before. Proof of that drug in Brennan’s story could hand the WSB a fresh reason to keep her locked up. That is the secret Lulu’s new helpers are guarding.

Will Lulu Lose Her Libel Case on General Hospital?

Nobody has reported it yet. The only Friday line is that Lulu gets disappointing news, with no word on what it is. Lulu Spencer’s own lawyer, Ric Lansing, has warned her the odds are not good, and she told Tracy that losing means bankruptcy and the end of her career. Willow’s side built the case on Drew refusing to back the story, and on Monday Drew offered Willow a joint statement denying Lulu’s allegations.

Here is what nobody else is connecting. Carly is the one person in this story who has pointed at Nina before. In September she named Nina to the WSB’s Agent Baines over Nina’s public threat against Brennan. Now she is keeping Nina’s secret from Lulu, and on Wednesday she shares her suspicions before Joe questions her on Thursday. If Carly cracks, Lulu gets her proof and Nina pays for it.

Who Loses What if the Drug Secret Comes Out

Nina loses the most. A syringe in May could keep her locked up over a disappearance Drew framed her for. Valentin, pardoned in July, looks like a man who sat on evidence. Carly looks like she chose Nina over Lulu. Willow loses a lawsuit that was shaky on paper from the start, and Drew gets dragged toward sworn testimony while Brennan’s grave raises its own questions.

Lulu Spencer has been burned by people who knew more before. “Nathan” turned out to be Cassius. Sidwell talked on tape, then called it a dream, and Drew knows her story is true but offered Willow a statement against it. When she hired Ric, she had the truth and a tape. Valentin and Carly are just the newest names on the list.

Friday Could Bring the Bad News

On Wednesday, Dante defends Lulu and Tracy drops a bombshell. On Thursday, Tracy prepares for battle and Ric makes a request of Alexis. A promo even has the WSB’s Baines telling Nina, “We may have rushed to judgment.” Track the week in our two-week spoilers and the full October 26 to 30 lineup.

My gut says Friday’s blow comes from Valentin’s WSB researchers coming back empty while he hunts for evidence that keeps Nina out of it. Could it be the court or Charlotte instead? Absolutely. One fan on X wants this court fight only if tons of the truth comes out, and right now that truth is at Carly’s house. If I know these writers, Lulu Spencer finds out who knew, and it won’t be from Valentin.

Lulu’s Best Shot at the Truth Is Hiding It From Her

Lulu swallowed her pride and asked for help, and the people she asked already had the answer. Team Valentin says Nina is sitting in a cell for something Drew framed her for, and one more secret is the price of getting her out.

Team Lulu says Charlotte’s father is letting her mother lose everything to protect his ex-wife. Whose side are you on? Tell us on our Facebook page.
