Abby Winters: Growing Her Hair Out in Europe

Abby Winters’ bob didn’t last long. Now she’s back with longer hair & an automatic fondness for Damian Kane (Jermaine Rivers) & wasn’t shy about it to her husband Devon Winters Bryton James).  Abby had been spending time in Europe with her son Dominic & some with her mother, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson). Only the Abbotts can fly one by one back & forth across the pond… Well, except for also the Newmans, but still.

Baby Dom isn’t a baby anymore & hasn’t been seen on screen with his legal dad, Chance Chancellor (Connor Floyd), in months. Supposedly, they spend time together, but who really knows? Perhaps if Chance had invited his latest ex-girlfriend, Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) & “her son,” Harrison (Redding Munsell), they would have become closer & would still be together. Another missed opportunity on Young & the Restless…

Surprise!… Cole Howard Works for Newman with Travel

Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) can pretend all day that he is fond of Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck), but Young & the Restless fans know the real deal, yet the apple of Victor’s eye, his daughter Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), has no idea.  The Mustache doesn’t & will never have time for Cole Howard.  

Now Y&R fans know where Cole has been & where he is now… He’s working. Surprise!… Cole Howard took Victor’s job offer to run the publishing division at Newman Enterprises & there’s travel involved. How better to keep peace with his daughter than to employ her current lover & to send him away on assignment?

In the meantime, when Cole is away, can Victoria please meet someone new & even sort of exciting? Cole Howard is a nice enough guy, but Victoria needs more. She needs passion & excitement. Also, she needs someone who is around. What happened to Cole crossing paths at The Newman Ranch with Cheslea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) & stirring up trouble between the sheets or in the stables? Young & the Restless fans have been snoozing during Victoria/Cole’s scenes & Adam Newman (Mark Grossman)/Chelsea Lawson’s scenes. It’s time for things to get mixed up again on the Newman Compound on Y&R!

Extended Business Casual at Newman Enterprises

Speaking of Newman Enterprises, where is it? Who is running it? All Victor Newman does is sit at home, not playing chess, meanwhile obsessing about his granddaughter Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) dating Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) son Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor). He hasn’t been to Newman in months that Young & the Restless fans can tell, & neither have his children with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), Victoria & Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).

Nick Newman has clearly been busy with his ex-wives being kidnapped together, so he’s in the clear & Victoria “has been backing him up” at Newman.  On occasion, Nick & Victoria meet to discuss business at Society or Crimson Lights in their “business casual,” if soap opera fans call it that. What they have been wearing seems more Newman Ranch comfortable to most fans.

Now Nick is off to London with one of his ex-wives, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), their daughter Faith Newman (Reylynnn Caster) & Nick’s make-believe son Christian. Will Nick & Sharon get close? Or, will Sharon bounce back to Chance Chancellor when she returns from visiting her & Nick’s son Noah Newman (Rory Gibson)? When will Queen Bee Miss Vikki return to the office? Will there be a new associate or executive who will catch her eye when Cole is still away on Newman Enterprises publishing business?
