Then a weekly casting column on October 26 moved his debut to Friday, November 6, the first of two 61st anniversary episodes, and the Days of Our Lives spoilers crowd has been arguing ever since. Meanwhile Marlena Evans sat on his phone number for a day, then finally used it.

Here is the part nobody is saying out loud. That November 6 line contradicts its own magazine. The same outlet’s October 20 casting story said November 2, and so did the teaser on its own photo gallery three days later. Every other report from the week when the casting news broke said November 2 as well. And the original announcement held both dates at once: Pryor first seen November 2, plus anniversary specials on November 6 and November 9 featuring his arrival.

Marlena Had His Number, and Then She Dialed

As our daily recaps laid out, Sydney DiMera handed her grandmother Dominic’s number on Monday, October 26. Dante Vitali, his old boarding school roommate, said Dominic was fine with sharing it. On Tuesday, October 27, Marlena hesitated, then went home and called him. It went to voicemail, and she left a message: “Dominic. It’s Marlena Evans. I think we need to talk.”

Can you blame her? The birth certificate she read in September lists Stefano DiMera and Marlena as Dominic’s parents. That is paper, not proof, and nobody on screen has said a word about DNA. One call back and she finds out what Stefano’s last secret really wants from her.

When Does Dominic Marino Debut on Days of Our Lives?

Our answer for now: early November, on Monday, November 2 or Friday, November 6, depending on the outlet. Until the official weekly previews for November 2 to 6 land, nobody can swear to the day Dominic Marino walks on screen. One casting report called November 2 his “first physical appearance,” which is a curious choice of words for a man Marlena could hear on the phone first.

My gut tells me both dates hold up. A glimpse on Monday, maybe a shadow or the back of his head, then the full entrance when the anniversary episodes arrive. If I know these writers, they did not spend months building this mystery to stroll him through Town Square on an ordinary afternoon.

The Halloween Mask Is Kristen, Not Dominic

Some chatter has Dominic sneaking into Salem behind a black mask at the end of the Friday, October 30 Halloween episode. The preview photos point somewhere else. Kristen DiMera agreed to get out of town until she could prove she had changed, and this week’s preview photos have her hiding behind a Halloween mask instead. On Friday she also ties up some loose ends.

EJ DiMera is at that party too, throwing his weight around. No preview puts a second masked stranger in the crowd. I am betting the masked face everyone screenshots this week is Kristen.

Tony and Anna Come Home for the Anniversary

Friday, November 6 and Monday, November 9 are the two 61st anniversary specials, with Thaao Penghlis and Leann Hunley back as Tony DiMera and Anna DiMera. The newest casting column has them in both episodes and says the show confirmed Anna’s two-part return. The real anniversary falls on Sunday, November 8, right in between, because the show premiered on November 8, 1965.

Tony is Stefano’s son, and the certificate names Stefano as Dominic’s father. Put those two men in one room and Salem gets its first hard look at what that paper means. Nobody has said whether November 6 puts Dominic Marino face to face with Tony and Anna, but the original report tied his arrival to these specials.

Who Meets Dominic First

Nobody has said, and that is the fun. Marlena has already left him a message. Dante has spoken for him since September, Sydney made the handoff, and EJ has been digging into Dominic for weeks and would hate being the last to know. The family of Lexie Carver has also set her memorial for early November, on her birthday, and the soap rumor mill already has Dominic crashing it.
