Will Skyla be on The Single Life? Not if she has her way. Angela Deem (90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? season 8) reportedly says TLC wants her daughter Skyla Deem on the next season of 90 Day: The Single Life, according to a fan news site that posted the claim on Nov. 5. The catch: Skyla has said no so far.

As of Nov. 6, 2026, Angela says TLC wants Skyla on The Single Life, but Skyla has not agreed and TLC has announced no new season or cast. The claim comes from a TikTok livestream that the site summarized without direct quotes or a date, and TLC has not commented, so treat every word below as reported.

What Angela Reportedly Said About Skyla

According to the fan site, Angela told her viewers that producers have been asking Skyla to appear on the spinoff since last year. Skyla has turned them down so far. Angela reportedly told her daughter she should give it a chance.

Angela also reportedly explained why Skyla is not jumping at it. According to her mom, Skyla first came on the show mainly to support Angela, not to find love on TV. Fans remember her standing by her mother through the long saga with Michael Ilesanmi (90 Day: Hunt for Love season 2), and in 2020 she sat beside Angela on the couch for an episode of Pillow Talk.

Will Skyla Be on The Single Life?

For now, the answer is no. TLC has not announced a new season of The Single Life, let alone a cast. The last season wrapped in May 2026, and the only names floating around for the next round come from fan accounts, not the network.

Skyla has not said a word about it herself, at least not anywhere we could find. Until she does, or TLC puts out a cast list, Skyla on The Single Life is a mother’s wish, not a booking.

An Old Rumor With a Brand New Source

Here is the twist: this idea is not new. In July 2024, Screen Rant ran an opinion piece arguing Skyla could easily join a future season, and that August an Instagram fan account turned it into a full-blown rumor. Nobody in the family said a thing back then, and neither did TLC.

What is new is who is saying it. As far as we can tell, this is the first time Angela Deem herself has been reported saying TLC actually asked. And if producers really have been calling since last year, as she claims, the 2024 chatter may have been closer to the truth than anyone knew.

Angela Deem Says She Was Never Fired

Then there is Meemaw herself. In a July 2024 TikTok live, Angela announced, “Listen, after this season, bye-bye!” In the same breath she insisted, “You know, I’m still with TLC. I am,” and said she would not be on The Single Life, Monsters & Critics reported.

Two years later, the door is open again. The fan site says Angela told her livestream she is done with relationship shows, but she has not been fired and could appear again if TLC approached her and she agreed. She also says she is writing a book, with lawyers involved.

And on Nov. 4, when fans asked whether she was watching Hunt for Love, Angela said she was not. Instead, she offered this in an Instagram Reel: “the first horse out of the gate ain’t always the winner, but the last one comes in first,” CinemaBlend reported.

Michael Ilesanmi Is Already Back on TLC

Her ex-husband beat her back to the network. Angela and Michael’s divorce was finalized in March, and Michael has been dating on Hunt for Love since it premiered Oct. 5. On Oct. 26 he asked someone out for the first time in two years, and on Nov. 2 a castmate ended up in his bed. He says nothing happened, and he kept it from newcomer Kay.

The next episode, “The Girl Who Saw Red,” airs Monday, Nov. 9, on TLC. So will Skyla say yes and put a Deem back on the schedule? My gut tells me Angela Deem wants this more than her daughter does, and that Skyla saw up close what reality TV did to her mother’s love life.

Skyla Holds the Only Vote That Counts

TLC can ask, and Angela can push, but Skyla is the one who would have to date on camera in front of millions. She watched her mom’s marriage play out on TV for years. Saying no so far looks less like stubbornness and more like good sense.

Still, a Deem on The Single Life would be ratings gold, and we would tune in. Team Skyla says yes, or Team Skyla stays home? Tell us on our Facebook page.
