Days of Our Lives Comings and Goings: Tony DiMera and Anna Sweep Back Into Salem to Honor Lexie Carver
Tony DiMera and Anna DiMera return to Salem on November 9 to honor Lexie Carver, and EJ is already lining up to confide in Tony on DAYS.
TONY DIMERA AND ANNA BRING THE DRAMA BACK TO SALEM
Thaao Penghlis as Tony DiMera and Leann Hunley as Anna DiMera are confirmed to return to Days of Our Lives, with the couple heading back to Salem on Monday, November 9. Their comeback puts them in EJ’s confession line by Thursday, November 12, which is where the real fun begins.
Days of Our Lives Comings & Goings
Salem is about to get a glamorous reminder that nobody coasts through a DiMera homecoming. Thaao Penghlis is returning as Tony DiMera and Leann Hunley is back as Anna DiMera on Monday, November 9, to honor the memory of Lexie Carver, the late character played by Nikki Crawford. A delayed flight kept them away from Friday’s memorial, so they are arriving fashionably late, as DiMeras do. How long they plan to stay has not been shared, and in Salem that is never a comforting thing to say.
Which DiMera secret does Anna sniff out first, and who gets the frostiest greeting? Email your theories to amber@soapoperamagazine.com, because we want every wild one.
A Marriage Built On Chaos
Tony DiMera first strolled into Salem in 1981, and his love story with Anna has never been dull. She drugged him into a Las Vegas wedding in 1983, they remarried in 2008 after Tony turned up alive following more than twenty years stranded on an island, and Anna left town in 2009 after a pier fight left Tony presumed dead. When Tony resurfaced in 2019, Anna was hurt and furious, forgave him anyway, and they married again, which makes Salem’s wedding chapels the real winners here.
Thaao Penghlis also plays Andre DiMera, the lookalike who spent years wearing Tony’s face around Salem, so every DiMera in town has probably learned to ask for ID. If Tony DiMera makes an unusually dramatic entrance, a second look would not hurt.
Their arrival lands in the middle of a messy stretch. Dan Feuerriegel as EJ DiMera discovers what Stacy Haiduk as Kristen DiMera has been up to on Monday, and by Thursday, November 12, EJ is confiding in Tony. Considering Kristen’s track record, that confession is bound to be juicy.
