Young and the Restless Comings and Goings: She’s Ba-ack! Cait Fairbanks Brings Tessa Porter Home to Genoa City
Cait Fairbanks is confirmed to return as Tessa Porter on Y&R, and Mariah’s marriage is about to get another round of Genoa City attention.
CAIT FAIRBANKS BRINGS TESSA PORTER BACK TO GENOA CITY
Cait Fairbanks is confirmed to return as Tessa Porter to Young and the Restless, and the preview for Wednesday, November 11 has Mariah and Tessa getting back on track.
Young and the Restless Comings & Goings
Genoa City has been talking about Tessa for months without being allowed to look at her, and Cait Fairbanks is finally ending the suspense. Tessa Porter is a Y&R fixture who has spent much of this year as a name in other people’s dialogue. Camryn Grimes as Mariah Copeland is the other half of that marriage, and the two get back on track in the preview for Wednesday, November 11. Everyone who watched the marriage wobble this year has questions about what Tessa has been doing since, and the town’s biggest gossips are already sharpening their pencils. Whatever the answers are, Mariah is about to get her wife back in the same room.

A Marriage That Keeps Genoa City Talking
Cait Fairbanks played every awkward minute of the stretch that tested this marriage, from the divorce filing in March to the coffee at Crimson Lights where Michael Graziadei as Daniel Romalotti kept turning up, and the hospital, where Mariah was left waiting. Genoa City’s favorite hobby is a love triangle, and this one had a guitar. Then came the duet, and Michael Damian as Danny Romalotti offered to produce an album, because Danny has never heard a harmony he did not want a record deal for.
Since then the marriage has been mended off-screen, with Mariah telling Sharon on September 3 that she and Tessa were doing amazing. On November 3, Bryton James as Devon Winters told Melissa Ordway as Abby Winters to get Tessa to run things at the restaurant, so Tessa’s name has been doing plenty of work without Cait Fairbanks.
