Adam & Chelsea’s Open Door Policy Makes Fans Cringe & Sharon’s Left Over PCP
Young & the Restless thought they were into February Sweeps when it’s really been February Cringe. What in the world was Adam Newman’s dream featuring Chelsea with Sally simply as a stand-in? Also, Phyllis Summers was right. Nick Newman should totally check Sharon Newman’s pancakes for PCP. Sharon is still on something whether it’s PCP or not.
Sharon With or Without PCP Throws In a Throw
Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) has to be on something. It may not be PCP, but things are not yet right with everyone’s Queen Sharon. Did she forget that she owns the apartment above Crimson Lights where Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) was renting from her? Chelsea didn’t give Sharon notice that she was moving out & now she is living on the Newman Compound where Sharon also lives, but Chelsea is living in the second largest home on the property with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) who they have both been married to on Young & the Restless.
Despite all of this, Sharon brought it upon herself to make an impromptu housewarming visit to Adam & Chelsea’s place to wish them well, welcome them to the Newman Compound, & gift them a lovely throw. Sharon knows Adam & Chelsea have found their way back together before & assumes they will be sharing the new throw blanket she gifted them. Chelsea advises otherwise. As of late, Chelsea’s only conversations all over Genoa City are only focused on how she’s moved to the Ranch with Adam & their son Connor Newman (Judah Mackey), but they are never ever getting back together.
The dead horse has been beaten & Chelsea can pipe down, or has it?…
Adam Newman Has a Dream, Y&R Fans Get Nautious
Per social media, the Valentine’s Day dream episode of Young & the Restless did not go over well & was widely considered a big waste of time. For those fans who tuned in they were cringing the most during Adam Newman’s dream & still cringing at least somewhat during Sharon Newman’s & Phyllis Summer’s (Michelle Stafford) respective dreams.
The Adam & Chelsea getting-back-together chatter has run its course & then some & it’s time to move on. While those two getting back together isn’t or at least not in the cards, there are other options on the Ranch.
Previous & Pending Lovers Cross Paths on the Newman Ranch
Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) has been out of time & hasn’t been spending much time on the Ranch as of late, but has been basically living at the Tack House with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) & their daughter Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) along with Victoria’s two Abbott children Johnny Abbott (Paxton Miskind) & Katie Abbott (Sienna Mercury). Cole & Victoria have almost zero chemistry & are a snoozefest themselves. What if Cole & Chelsea run into one another & strike up a conversation? What if they run into one other at the stables checking on their respective children? Claire’s an adult, but her parents hover over her like they would a toddler. While Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is trying his damnedest to reboot Adam & Chelsea, in the background he’s also trying to break up Victoria & Cole. Perhaps Cole & Chelsea click & both move off of the Newman Compound & go on to live happily forever & ever in a land far-far away from Genoa City.
Then there’s Sharon… Sharon Newman still has it for Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), obviously. Her Valentine’s Day dream was almost as cringeworthy as Adam Newman’s but at least Sharon & Nick have a substantial soap opera fan following. Whether Sharon is still somehow on PCP or not, there is something not right with her regardless. It’s a guarantee that Sharon will continue to be needy & it’s a guarantee that brothers Nick & Adam Newman will continue to fawn over her forever & ever. Now, Adam is on the Ranch along with Sharon & will run into him from time to time no matter what he does. Most Young & the Restless fans would vote if Adam were to reboot a relationship it would be his with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). Well, she’s getting busy with Billy Boy Abbott (Jason Thompson) right now.
The only way Adam will find his way back to Chelsea will be by finding his way back to Sharon first & making Chelsea jealous. Wow, Y&R fans… It seems like we’ve seen this movie before.
