However, Young & the Restless fans have noticed that Detective Chance Chancellor is the most ineffective detective in GCPD history. At this point, Nick Newman would be more useful in protecting Genoa City residents. What if?!?…
Nick Newman Never Gives Up on Sharon, Skills Transferable?
Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) never gives up on Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) no matter what. It turns out Nick was leading the investigation instead of GCPD’s Detective Chance Chancellor (Connor Floyd) & Chance is too dumb to realize it. Who is Chance’s boss anyway at the GCPD? If Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) were in town, none of this would be happening.
It’s about time Chance & his girlfriend hanging by a thread Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) has a heart-to-heart with her about how integral her dad Nick Newman was in piecing things together to find Sharon. Young & the Restless fans need to hear Chance say “We could use someone like that on the force.” What if Nick Newman was brought on at the GCPD & treated every single case like Sharon was involved? Just think how much safer Genoa City would be on Y&R.
The Dead Horse Has Been Beaten, Nick Newman Out
Nick Newman needs to leave Newman Enterprises for the last time, but maybe he already has. He hasn’t been there in months & no one has noticed. Nick working at Newman is a total snoozefest & even he knows it. He wants to be there about as much as Young & the Restless fans want to see him there. Young & the Restless fans need Nick Newman out & about, not wearing a suit ever, & fighting crime.
To Train or Not to Train, Maybe Nick Should Train the Trainer
Does Genoa City University offer a degree in law enforcement? Nick’s skillset including never giving up on Sharon Newman are transferable, but otherwise, his C-suite experience does not. Regardless, Nick is likely further ahead of the hired detective in Genoa City & maybe should train him. Most of GCPD’s business seems to go down at Crimson Lights so Nick joining the force makes sense there. Sharon would be in his proximity almost all of the time to motivate him as she offices out of her coffee house too on behalf of Cassidy 1st.
What will Summer Newman think if her dad ends up working with her boyfriend fighting crime in Genoa City?
