Beyond the Gates
Daytime Comings and Goings Week of November 9: A Masked Stranger Drops His Disguise, a Doctor Packs Her Bags, and a Glamorous Couple Arrives Fashionably Late
Surprise arrivals, familiar faces, and a few goodbyes keep daytime on its toes as new castings and returns roll across all five soaps.
DAYTIME COMINGS AND GOINGS SHAKE UP ALL FIVE TOWNS
Daytimeโs revolving door is spinning at full speed. Beyond the Gates rolls out the welcome mat for a surprise crossover and a fresh casting, Bold and the Beautiful welcomes a parade of familiar faces home while a mystery surfer waits in the wings, Days of Our Lives lets a masked stranger out of the shadows as a glamorous couple heads for town, General Hospital waves a matriarch off on a rescue mission, and Young and the Restless says a temporary goodbye to a doctor while the cavalry rolls back in. Grab a seat, because the next five days are packed.

Beyond the Gates Comings & Goings
Fairmont Crestโs front gates are swinging like a saloon door, and the biggest entrance of the week came courtesy of Genoa City. Bryton James as Devon Winters and Christel Khalil as Lily Winters crossed over on Wednesday, November 4, to sit down with Clifton Davis as Vernon Dupree in the recording studio and remember their late father, Neil Winters. Devon grabbed the producerโs chair for the Articulettesโ big session, Lily turned into a starstruck fan the second Tamara Tunie as Anita Dupree walked in, and she even got stuck guarding Trisha Mann-Grant as Leslie Thomas in the control room. Lily came out of it liking her, which Vernon warned would not last.
Closer to home, Jaden Lucas Miller was back as Tyrell Richardson on Monday, November 2, home for election week and volunteering at the polls for study credit. Angela Fairley returned as Deanna McBride on Wednesday and planted herself across from Maurice P. Kerry as Randy Parker, and by the time Lauren Buglioli as Vanessa McBride arrived, the two women had kicked poor Randy out of his own booth. Ashley Jones came back as Heather Armstrong on Friday, November 6, and Heather turned on the crocodile tears until Jon Lindstrom as Joey Armstrong gave his sister one week to pack.
Up next, Alex Alegria returns as Tomas Navarro on Thursday, November 12, in time for Colby Muhammadโs Kat Richardson to end up spurned, and Heather and Joey go head to head on Friday, November 13. The guest list is growing too. Yvette Nicole Brown joins as Temeka, a cousin of Ernestine Johnsonโs Shanice Johnson, and her real-life husband, Anthony Davis, plays Temekaโs husband, Tony. No air date has been announced, so nobody knows if the couple is arriving in time for Shaniceโs wedding to Keith D. Robinsonโs Ted Richardson, but relatives with plus-ones have a way of turning receptions into plotlines.

Bold and the Beautiful Comings & Goings
Bold and the Beautiful kept the front door propped open all week.ย Scott Cliftonย was back asย Liam Spencerย on Monday, November 2, handingย Annika Noelleโsย Hope Loganย a pep talk about a family feud she did not start.
Elsewhere, Jax Buresh is heading back to L.A. in a recurring role. Viewers first met him in 2025 as the surfer who wanted a rinse in the beach houseโs outdoor shower and got turned away by Crew Morrow as Will Spencer. His new character has no name, air date, or storyline yet, but rumors of a love interest for Harrison Cone as Deke Sharpe have fans doing the math, and that could spell trouble for Christian Weissman as Remy Pryce, who secretly rekindled things with Deke back in June. Alley Mills is also set to return as Pam Douglas, with no air date announced.
Back at the beach house, Will and Sydney Bullock as Melissa Dylan return to the screen on Monday, November 9, when Will gets shocking details about his parents. By Tuesday he is confiding in Dylan, and the preview has the pair steaming up the outdoor shower, the very spot Will once guarded against a certain surfer.

Days of Our Lives Comings & Goings
Salemโs newest resident arrived dressed for Halloween and wasted no time making an impression. Kyle Pryor as Dominic Marino showed up masked on Monday, November 2, and locked eyes with Martha Madison as Belle Black at her front door, while Maggie Carney as Rita welcomed him to the Salem Inn the same day. By Friday, November 6, the mask was off and Dominic had strolled into the Brady Pub to tell Dan Feuerriegel as EJ DiMera, โHello, brother.โ Rachel Boyd as Sophia Choi stepped on camera Wednesday, November 4, scaring Stacy Haidukโs Kristen DiMera half to death by walking into her hotel room dressed for the Day of the Dead, then skipped off with a bag of cash and an offshore account password. Friday was a Stacy Haiduk double feature, with Kristen slipping into Lexie Carverโs memorial disguised as Susan Banks before the real Susan swept in with Deidre Hall as Marlena Evans.
The winter promo brought casting news too. Sofia Mattsson, best known as Sasha Gilmore on General Hospital, steps into Chloe Lane, a role Nadia Bjorlin has said she could not return to because the logistics did not work. In the promo, Eric Martsolf as Brady Black, fresh off a breakup, greets Chloe with โHi, Chloeโ and the two kiss, and her first air date is pegged for early 2027. George DelHoyo is back as Orpheus too, with Marlena paying him a visit in the promo and no air date yet. Greg Rikaart as Leo Stark got locked in a shipping container with a briefcase of cash on Thursday, and the promo shows Al Calderon as Javi Hernandez fighting to revive him. That is a tease, not an obituary, since Rikaart is on contract and no exit has been announced.
Mondays are for fashionably late entrances. Thaao Penghlis as Tony DiMera and Leann Hunley as Anna DiMerafinally land in Salem on Monday, November 9, after a delayed flight kept them from the memorial, and by Thursday, November 12, EJ is confiding in Tony. Tuesday, November 10 brings a crowd, with Lorelei Olivia Mote as Rachel Black opening up to Brady, Shi Ne Nielson as Amy Choi leaving Ashley Puzemisโs Holly Jonas questioning her true intentions, and Suzanne Rogers as Maggie Kiriakis offering Linsey Godfreyโs Sarah Horton some heartfelt advice. On Thursday, Franco LoPresti as Dante Vitali squares off with Dominic in a heated confrontation.

General Hospital Comings & Goings
Port Charles saw a few familiar faces resurface and one matriarch pack her bags. Dean Geyer was back as Tristan Roberts on Wednesday, November 4, to examine Cynthia Watros as Nina Reeves with a clearance from Katelyn MacMullen as Willow Tait, and by Friday he was storming into the PCPD to announce that the wrong people had been arrested. Alexa Havins Bruening was also back as Lulu Spencer, crashing a Friday date between Rick Hearst as Ric Lansing and Rebecca Herbst as Elizabeth Baldwin to beg Elizabeth to talk Willow out of the libel suit.
Jane Elliot as Tracy Quartermaine left town Thursday, November 5, to bail out Dillon Quartermaine after his arrest while filming at a Buddhist monastery in Bangkok. It is Elliotโs annual vacation written into the story, not an exit, so Tracy returns in a matter of weeks. Before she left, she put Steve Burton as Jason Morgan in charge of the family. Meanwhile, Alley Mills keeps Heather Webber firmly planted in Port Charles with a new address at Wyndemere, and Wil Traval as Jude Jacks is still pressing his claim to a baby he says is his daughter.
Monday, November 9 puts Josh Swickard as Chase face to face with Jude, who is still fighting for the baby he says is his daughter. Tristan also promises a shocking revelation of his own that same day, so Monday has no intention of being quiet.

Young and the Restless Comings & Goings
Genoa Cityโs guest book filled up fast. Fareed Ward debuted as Dr. Andrew Bishop on Wednesday, November 4, strolling in on Sean Dominic as Nate Hastings and Vivica A. Fox as Dr. Stephanie Simmons in mid-hug, and by Thursday he had appointed himself Nateโs proctor, which is one way to make an entrance and zero ways to make friends. Billy Flynn was back as Cane Ashby on Monday, November 2, home from London to surprise Lily, and Lauralee Bell as Christine Blair, Michael Damian as Danny Romalotti, and Kate Linder as Esther Valentine turned up for the Jabot shoot on Thursday, November 5, where Esther volunteered as social media manager and got a polite no.
Stephanieโs time in town ended Friday, November 6, when she left for a few weeks to visit Nathan Owens as Holden Novak and Shemar Moore as Malcolm Winters, after a send-off from Nate that made sure she would remember him. There is no return date yet, which Nate and Dr. Bishop will take very differently. Meanwhile, Roger Howarth as Matt Clark stays a name in other peopleโs dialogue, with Joshua Morrow as Nick Newman insisting he shipped Matt off to an out-of-state clinic, and the third degree about Mattโs whereabouts is on the schedule for Thursday, November 12.
The GCAC fills up Monday, November 9, when Michelle Stafford as Phyllis Summers unveils a new business plan while Tracey E. Bregman as Lauren Fenmore and Christian LeBlanc as Michael Baldwin get welcomed back, with Michael Graziadei as Daniel Romalotti back at the table. Beth Maitland as Traci Abbott gets a special request on Tuesday, November 10, and Wednesday, November 11 reunites Camryn Grimes as Mariah Copeland and Cait Fairbanks as Tessa Porter, with the preview promising the pair gets back on track.
For the calendar-minded, Lily Brooks OโBriant returns as Danielโs daughter, Lucy Romalotti, for Thanksgiving with no air date yet, and Tetona Jackson debuts as Roxanne Barrington sometime in November with no air date either. Danny and Christine also get a surprise visitor on Friday, November 13, and nobody is saying who is ringing the bell, which is exactly how this soap likes it.
Stars About Town
Daytimeโs stars are racking up frequent-flyer miles. Lawrence Saint-Victor, who plays Carter Walton on Bold and the Beautiful, is guest starring in Season 23, Episode 5 of ABCโs Greyโs Anatomy, titled โStronger (What Doesnโt Kill You).โ It airs on a Thursday, with Hulu streaming it the next day, and nobody has revealed who he is playing. After the week Carter has had, a hospital hallway in Seattle probably sounds like a vacation, and he is not leaving Forrester Creations in the process.
Alison Sweeney, best known as Sami Brady, traded Salem cliffhangers for a microphone with her new podcast, Between Takes with Ali Sweeney, which she announced on Instagram on November 4. Victor Webster, who passed through Salem as Nicholas Alamain in 1999 and 2000 before becoming a Hallmark regular, is the first guest, so for once the only drama on the schedule is the chat.
