The Young and the Restless
Young and the Restless Recap October 27, 2026: Victoria Newman Stashes Kyle Abbott Out on a Balcony in London
This Young and the Restless Recap catches Victoria and Kyle’s balcony cover story, Sally and Adam’s café talk, and Chelsea’s denials.
VICTORIA HIDES KYLE IN THIS YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS RECAP
TL;DR: This Young and the Restless Recap catches Victoria Newman stashing Kyle Abbott on a balcony while Billy Abbott pays a visit. Sally Spectra trades tender, complicated feelings with Adam Newman over baby Ruby, Chelsea Lawson swears to Nick Newman that Adam hides nothing, and Billy sings a lullaby from a pub.

Kyle Hides While Victoria Lies
Kyle Abbott squinted through the peephole of the London apartment, spotted Billy Abbott loitering in the hallway, and began the most urgent hunt for trousers of his adult life. Victoria Newman had exactly one job, which was to keep that door closed long enough for her secret to become presentable, and she took it on with the poise of someone who had rehearsed this lie in the mirror.
Her opening move was to inquire after Jill Abbott. Billy said his mother was holding steady but was nowhere near the clear, and Victoria listened with genuine concern, because stalling and caring can share a breath when a man is crouching behind you. Once they stepped inside, Kyle had vanished onto the balcony, leaving only the evidence: candles, champagne, and the unmistakable glow of an evening not planned for one. Billy read the room in about four seconds. Victoria served him a story about talking business with an attorney and claimed the candles were entirely her own idea. Apparently London lawyers now bill in votives.
Billy remarked that the apartment looked untouched since their marriage, and the two traded notes on Jill and on what the children needed to hear about her condition. Then the conversation wandered to his choice to make the trip, Sally’s insistence that he go, and whatever waited for him at home. He drifted toward the window, and the view, and the glass door beside it. Victoria stepped into his path with a sudden call she needed to prepare for, and Billy, to his credit, took the hint, thanked her for listening, and left. He thanked her for listening. Somewhere outside, a grown man was doing plenty of listening of his own.
The moment the door clicked, Victoria fetched Kyle off the balcony, murmured her sympathies, and filled him in on Jill. The tenderness lasted precisely until the kissing resumed, a pivot this particular suite seems to specialize in.

Sally Meets Adam at the Café
Sally Spectra wheeled baby Ruby into the café at Chancellor Park for her first real outing, armed with her doctor’s blessing and a bad case of cabin fever, and spent a few contented minutes picturing the life ahead of them. Then Adam Newman appeared, because nobody in Genoa City has ever finished a quiet coffee.
Adam confessed he felt protective of Ruby, which sparked a short, serious talk about whether the fresh air was safe. Sally had cleared it with her doctor, so the matter was closed, and she told him he was welcome to visit Ruby any time. His eyes never left Ruby’s face. He called her perfect, and nobody at the table argued.
Then Sally turned the conversation toward him. She suspected the delivery had been bittersweet and could see he was keeping something in. Adam admitted some of it had landed harder than he expected. Sally understood why. The birth had been joyful and tangled all at once, and it had stirred an echo of that ache in her. Raising a little girl, she suggested, might be one way to start mending, and she hoped bringing Ruby into the world had given Adam a little calm of his own. She even said she believed the daughter they lost had a hand in it, and Adam called that a beautiful thought.
From there the talk drifted to Billy. Sally hoped the delivery might make the two men friends someday, and Adam, who knew how that story usually went, could not picture it. He was also surprised that Billy had left for London almost immediately after Ruby’s birth. Sally said that was what she wanted. Adam’s private verdict was plain: in Billy’s shoes, he would have stayed put. Sally left, and Adam stayed behind alone, remembering the day he broke the news of the baby they lost. It was a quiet ending to a scene that never once raised its voice.

Chelsea Swears Everything Is Fine
Chelsea Lawson drifted onto the Newman ranch hunting for Adam and admitted to Nick Newman that she couldn’t find him anywhere. Nick hadn’t seen him either, so the two did what responsible adults do when a loved one goes missing: they had tea. Over the cups they rehashed the wedding. Chelsea guessed Sally had invited her to smooth things over, and they laughed over Adam playing midwife, which she called the perfect ending. Nick noticed her worry about where Adam had gone, and she waved it away with excuses.
Nick offered news from the home front. Connor Newman had phoned with honor-roll news. Nick loved how well the kids were doing and hated how rarely he saw his own. He had mulled joining his sister in Europe but decided home needed him, and he assumed she was racking up wins in London solo. (If only he knew how big. Or with whom.)
Chelsea asked how he was holding up, and Nick said he felt like his old self again, though he didn’t think he deserved the grace everyone was handing him. Rehab had given him plenty of tools, he said, and he was putting them to use.
Then Nick asked how Chelsea was coping after the wedding, and she insisted she felt nothing but joy and relief. Nick suspected it was more complicated. She disagreed, swore Adam had no secrets from her, and held that line even as Nick doubted it. She added that the newlyweds had been perfectly cordial, and she was sure that was real too. That is a lot of confidence to deliver without once blinking.
Later, Chelsea found Adam on the porch and asked if everything was okay. He swore it was and then stared at nothing while she went to fetch lattes. Chelsea noticed. The first hairline crack had appeared in the Everything Is Fine campaign, right on schedule.

Billy Sings From a Pub
Billy parked himself at a pub in London, checked his phone, found no messages, and did the one thing a husband and new father can do in that situation, which is call home. He and Sally compared notes on Jill. If she kept recovering for another 48 hours, Billy would fly home, and he told Sally how sorry he was not to be home with his wife and daughter.
Sally assured him all was well and that both of them were hosting plenty of visitors. Billy was relieved and missed his daughter anyway. Sally switched the phone to speaker, and Billy urged Ruby to take her time growing up, then serenaded her with the classic about a twinkling little star. The other pub patrons were treated to a lullaby they hadn’t ordered. Ruby, a newborn with no known music-critic credentials, offered no notes.

A Balcony Full of Fibs
Victoria and Kyle spent the hour proving that a balcony door is a flimsy thing to hang a secret on, and Billy walked out thanking the woman who had fibbed to his face. Everything else in this Young and the Restless Recap was about people insisting they were fine. Sally and Adam found tenderness over a stroller, Chelsea defended Adam with the zeal of someone who needed it to be true, and Billy sang into a phone from a pub, the one unguarded moment of the entire hour.
