MAGGIE KIRIAKIS ALREADY FORGAVE XANDER, AND NOW SARAH WANTS HER WISDOM

TL;DR: Maggie Kiriakis gives Sarah Horton advice on Tuesday, November 10. She forgave Xander at his bedside two weeks ago, and Lani has troubling news for him on Friday.

Maggie Has Already Taken Xander’s Side Once

It is confirmed for Tuesday, November 10: Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) offers Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) some advice. Three separate previews list the scene, and not one says what the advice is about. Here is the part nobody is talking about. Maggie already made up her mind about Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) two weeks ago, at his hospital bedside.

These Days of Our Lives spoilers put the talk on the same Tuesday Xander cautions his brother, Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier). By Friday, November 13, Lani Price (Sal Stowers) has troubling news for Xander. Sarah’s mother could not have picked a tenser week to weigh in.

The Bedside Speech That Changed the Family Math

As our daily recaps showed, Xander jumped in front of a bullet meant for Sarah on October 23 and shot George in the DiMera lab. On October 27, Maggie sat beside him while he lay unconscious. She told him she could never thank him enough for saving Sarah’s life. She said Victor Kiriakis would be proud of the man he has become, and she forgave him for everything he has done.

Forgiveness was never a given with Xander’s record. Maggie married Victor, and Xander and Philip are his two sons, so she sits at the heart of the family Sarah keeps circling back to. If anyone in Salem can tell Sarah the truth about Xander, it is the woman who just forgave him.

Will Maggie Push Sarah Back Toward Xander?

Nothing confirmed says she will, and here is the catch. Sarah is not the one stalling. On November 4, Xander told her he wants them back together eventually, just not now, and that any reunion “has to be forever.” Sarah said she would do whatever it takes.

A day later he dug in deeper. He said he would rather hire a nurse than be sent home in her care, and Sarah did not love that one bit. So if Maggie Kiriakis tells her daughter to fight for this man, Sarah may have to fight Xander first.

Xander’s Gun Is the Real Third Wheel

The good news on November 5 belonged to Sarah. Lani told her George’s laptop shows clear evidence of tampering with Destiny’s records. Sarah told Xander, “Without you, I’d never be able to prove my innocence.” Then Lani asked to speak with Xander alone.

In private, Lani reminded him he is a convicted felon with no right to carry a gun, and the one he fired was unlicensed and unregistered. Her advice was blunt: “lawyer up.” Nobody has charged Xander with anything. Friday’s troubling news could change that, or it could be something else entirely, because no preview has named it.

One Columnist Wants Them on the Run

Not everyone thinks Sarah should wait. One soap columnist argued this week that Sarah and Xander should follow Salem’s famous fugitive couples, from Bo and Hope to Steve and Kayla, and simply run. It is a fun idea, and nothing in the previews points there. Fans who track every Salem twist know how those getaways usually end.

Still, picture the scene. Maggie Kiriakis has seen Sarah through heartbreak before, and she knows what Xander did for her. My gut tells me Maggie tells Sarah to stop waiting for Xander to feel ready and to stand by him, whatever Lani brings. If I know these writers, she also warns her not to lose herself in the process.

Philip May Need the Warning More

Then there is Xander’s caution for Philip. The previews do not say what it is about. Reading between the lines, Philip has a secret of his own. He agreed to join Sydney’s poker game and hid it from Gabi on November 3, using Xander’s hospital stay as his cover. Don’t be surprised if big brother has heard about it.

For how Sarah got here, catch up on Brady’s confrontation and Xander’s gun trouble. Then keep your eye on Friday. Whatever Maggie Kiriakis tells Sarah on Tuesday, Lani may rewrite the plan before the weekend.

Wait for Xander or fight for him now? Tell us what Maggie should say in the comments.

Maggie’s Blessing Could Be the Push Sarah Needs

We are taking a side. Maggie forgave Xander when he could not even hear her, and that tells us where her heart sits. Our bet is she tells Sarah to stop waiting for perfect timing, because in Salem perfect timing never comes.

But Xander is the one saying not yet, and Lani’s news is coming. Does Maggie’s advice bring them together or set Sarah up for heartbreak? Tell us on our Facebook page.
