Claire didn’t ask to be top of mind in Genoa City & Diane Jenkins is begging. Doesn’t Diane finally have everything she ever wanted? Why does everything that she touches have to be all about her on Y&R?
Paranoid & Desperate, Diane Jenkins Non-stop on Y&R
When Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) was trying to figure out if she was in a relationship with Alan or Martin Laurent (Christopher Cousins), Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) tried to console & comfort her, but Traci wouldn’t give up the details. Traci wouldn’t give up the details because her situation was psychotic & scary. Also, she had confided in her brother Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) about the situation & he always has her back. Then, all of a sudden, Traci’s problem was all about Diane. Diane went on, on, & on some more about how she thinks she’s not a trusted Abbott. Then she went on more about how she’s tried so hard to be an Abbott & to repair the damage she created throughout the years. This all the while Traci is engaged to a man who isn’t alive but his identical evil twin. After Diane was brought up to speed, most thought she would get a grip & chill a bit. Not-so-much on Young & the Restless…
The Only Non-Resident Abbott Doesn’t Like Her Reboot…
Boo-hoo, Diane Jenkins. Boo-hoo. Every Abbott near & far has approved of Diane’s reboot inside the Abbott Estate except for Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), who, of all of the Abbotts, has lived there the least. Also, Billy wasn’t even that mean. He said he didn’t care for the reboot, but Diane asked for his honest opinion & that is what she got.
Now Diane is whining on, on, & on to her husband Jack about how Billy Boy doesn’t like the reboot & she doesn’t feel like an Abbott… Blah, blah, blah. Diane should feel good that there is just one Abbott who doesn’t approve of her reboot. She went all ‘mauve’ without any Abbott input. At least she replaced that nasty old couch they had for so long. Billy Boy should have at least been okay with that.
Kyle’s Pending Relocation With Claire, Now About Diane
Now Diane Jenkins has inserted herself into Claire’s decision whether or not to move in with her son, Kyle Abbott. Diane is seriously doing everything in her power to have at least all of the Abbotts & whoever they associate with to revolve around her. Make. It. Stop.
While Diane may have some valid points in cautioning Claire to move in with Kyle, including Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), her son Kyle is a grown man & should be out on his own anyway.
Whoa! What if Kyle bought Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) condo on his own & lived there with Harrison? Claire could stay there whenever & they can continue to build their relationship before formally moving in together. Also, Victor might chill a bit if Claire & Kyle don’t actually move in together, but Kyle decides to be a grown-up for once.
However, Kyle won’t be able to move Mrs. Martinez into wherever he goes & Harrison’s mother is across the pond. Who will watch his son Harrison when he’s wining & dining Claire? How about Grandma DeeDee on Y&R? She is now into getting attention from whomever she can get it from.
