Young and the Restless’ Harrison Abbott has gone through multiple mother figures. Where is his biological mother, Tara Locke, now?
HARRISON ABBOTT IS SO SWEET ON YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS—BUT WHERE ARE ALL HIS MOTHER FIGURES?!
TL;DR: Harrison Locke, now Abbott, is SO SWEET on Young and the Restless, but how?? There is never any mention of his biological mother, Tara Locke, or even a picture of her in his bedroom. His #2 mother figure, in terms of raising and loving him, is now living in Milan and is hardly ever mentioned. Before and in between there was Victoria Newman, who married the man presented as his dad for the first three years of his life and who was named on his birth certificate… and then there was Claire.
Y&R’s Biggest Joke: Tara Locke STILL in Prison
Really, Y&R… Like Young and the Restless fans do not call BS on Tara Locke still being in prison in New York. Seriously, for real… Tara laundered some money, which basically affected her faux shoe company, and sort of Lauren Fenmore a little bit. Everyone is fine. No harm, no foul… It’s not like Tara Locke freaking killed someone, like when Nick Newman accidently killed her ex-husband, Ashland Locke, and didn’t go to jail or prison or was held accountable at all.
So, how is it that Tara Locke is still in prison in New York?

Y&R’s Kyle Abbott: Not-so-Much-Daddy-of-the-Year-EVER!
Well, Kyle Abbott doesn’t know much. In fact, he doesn’t know much of anything as he is the most entitled man-child in Genoa City on Young and the Restless. Like, has he forgotten about his affair with the then-married Tara Locke to Ashland Locke? Shouldn’t it have occurred to him that his child should know who his biological mother is… The woman who raised him for the first three years of his life. Shouldn’t he be wondering when Tara will be getting out of prison if she hasn’t already?
Kyle Abbott really thinks he can keep Harrison from his biological mother and run off whenever he wants to do whatever he wants with his parents and make-believe Mrs. Martinez to watch him. His last trip was to L.A. to chase down Harrison’s latest mother figure, Claire Newman, right before he had the Jabot Jet fueled up for a follow-up trip to stalk Claire some more.
At this point, Kyle isn’t even mentioning Harrison’s adopted mother, Summer Newman (Allison Lanier). This dad seriously has no freaking clue.
Summer Newman’s “My Son” Drinking Game Halted in Milan
For the longest time on Young and the Restless, if fans were to take a drink every single time Summer Newman said, “my son,” they would be straight up hammered. My son this, my son that. Everything Summer said was about her son. Well, she supposedly adopted Harrison, but how? Wouldn’t Tara need to relinquish her rights to her child for someone else to adopt him? She was arrested for minor money laundering, nothing to do with parenting Harrison.
For the sake of saying, let’s say that Summer adopting Harrison is legitimate. After preaching “my son” over and over again, it makes zero sense that she would relocate to Milan indefinitely. Yes, Harrison did spend some time in Milan with Summer during the summer, but she hasn’t been mentioned since.
Young and the Restless SERIOUSLY Missed an Opportunity
Young and the Restless SERIOUSLY missed an opportunity… Tara Locke returning for HER SON when Summer Newman was still living in Genoa City would have been pure soap opera drama entertainment. Now, Y&R fans are only left with Harrison’s most recent mother figure, Claire. Well, that’s done, so what’s next, Y&R fans?
