Introduction

It’s a good thing that Detective Chance Chancellor is damn sexy as he is the worst detective in recent Young & the Restless history. Y&R fans recall Ashland Locke’s death, Phyllis Summers faking her death & killing Jeremy Stark, & more. Chance is not a good detective & Genoa City residents end up picking up the slack. This time it’s Phyllis Summers’ turn on Young & Restless.

Apparently, Chance Chancellor did not take any continuing education courses during his time off of the force as his detective skills have not seemed to improve. Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) lives in a nice condominium building in Genoa City. Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) lives in the same building. Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) at least used to live in the same building even though his condo hasn’t been seen in months by Young & the Restless fans.

It’s more than reasonable to believe that this building in Genoa City which houses a few of the city’s finest has a security system including video surveillance. Now why hasn’t been checked out & reviewed by GCPD?

Blessing in Disguise, Phyllis Summers Fired Again on Y&R

Yes, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) being fired from Abbott Chancellor courtesy of Billy Boy Abbott (Jason Thompson) per his mother Jill Abbott’s (Jess Walton) request has not been finalized, but it’s close. That’s unless Phyllis doubles down on talking to Jill Abbott “woman-to-woman” to persuade her otherwise. Or, if somehow Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) & Devon Winters (Bryton James) call off their wedding within the next month & Jill’s upcoming visit to Genoa City is canceled. Regardless, Phyllis Summers has a brain & she’s very creative & crafty.

Phyllis is already asking the right questions in light of the evidence found at Daniel’s & learning Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) stopped by Daniel’s to “apologize” to Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom). There’s no doubt that Phyllis will beat Detective Chance Chancellor to the video surveillance in Daniel’s building no matter what means she has to use to get it.

Y&R’s Most Unlikely Team: Red & The Bug in Genoa City

Phyllis’ least favorite bug, Christine Blair/Cricket (Lauralee Bell) is headed back to Genoa City & no doubt will defend her Godson Daniel Romalotti. Now look what Sharon Newman has done… She has forced Red & The Bug to find common ground & to work together to save Daniel from being framed for killing Heather Stevens.

Danny Romalotti Returns

Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) is also on his way back to Genoa City. Who better than to oversee Phyllis & Cricket working together than the common man between these two ladies who could not be more different?

Now, is this a case that Cricket will finally win with Phyllis’ help & she’ll have to admit it? Or, will Cricket shut Phyllis down & lose another case to Michael Baldwin who will no doubt be representing Sharon Newman?
