Daniel was a hard sell but finally realized he’s been unemployed long enough. How will it work working for a man who has slept with both his mother & ex-girlfriend on Y&R?
Daniel Realizes He Needs a J-O-B & Settles for Billy Boy
Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) hasn’t had a job since he cheated on Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) ex-girlfriend two ex-girlfriends ago, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) with his now deceased ex-wife/latest lover Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom). Lily Winters on behalf of Chancellor Winters served up three firings including Daniel, Heather, & Daniel’s mother Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) who has also dated & lived with Billy Abbott in a past life played by Gina Tognoni.
Yes, Daniel Romalotti is desperate on Young & the Restless, as he should be. Daniel needs this job & it’s guaranteed not to be boring, but how long will it last?
Daniel Romalotti To Join Team Sally in Genoa City
Now Billy Boy is dating Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) & they’re pretty freaking hot already. Things are going well, but Phyllis Summers isn’t a fan of their new arrangement. Phyllis has leftover resentment towards Sally & her part in forcing her daughter Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) to Milan to run Marchetti a few years back. Summer Newman has gotten past this. Summer is so far past this that she’s been back in Genoa City running Marchettis underneath the Jabot umbrella. She’s even hired Sally Spectra & thinks she’s doing dynamite. In fact, Sally is on her way to Paris with Billy Abbott, who Summer has also slept with, but that one-time detail remains on the down low in Genoa City on Y&R.
The last thing Daniel wants is for his mother to reboot things intimately with Billy Abbott so Team Sally is the team he will be on full-time. She did do a nice job redecorating his apartment right after he moved in. What’s there not to like about Sally for Daniel?
Billy Boy Teases Hiring former Newman Media CEO Sally
Sally Spectra was once very successful at Newman Media until her time ran out not being a Newman working for Newman. It would make sense that Billy would want the best talent on his team no matter how Phyllis or anyone else feels, but how will that really go over with Phyllis & Daniel?
Billy Boy has convinced Phyllis & Daniel that Abbott Communications is being built above board to be its own bad-ass media company with nothing to do with the Newmans or Newman Media. If Billy brings on any of the Newman Media alumni Phyllis & Daniel will be sure to speculate on where Billy’s mind is & where his ambitions will take Abbott Communications next.
Regardless, Sally Spectra is becoming in high demand in Genoa City. Sally is doing very well at Marchetti working for Summer. She’s successfully redecorated both Daniel & Billy’s new homes despite her failed interior design company sponsored by Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). Now Sally is about to be bounced into being in demand at Abbott Communications
