Coming soon to Genoa City on Young & the Restless, Freelance Detective Daniel Romalotti to find out who killed his wife Heather Stevens & dumped her into the river. He knows that GCPD’s Detective Chance Chancellor is not up to the task & so does everyone else but Chance Chancellor & Daniel’s Attorney Christine Blair. Well, this should all go over well, especially with Daniels’s mother Phyllis’ freelance detective work already in progress. It’s November & time to be swept… Let’s go!

The GCPD doesn’t run anything like it used to in the Detective Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) days. When was the last time that Chance Chancellor cracked a case without help within a reasonable amount of time? No one can remember…
Ergo, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) has already started her recon whether anyone likes it or not. Now that her son Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) has been charged with Heather Stevens’ (Vail Bloom) murder, the most recent love of his life, he will not only be on board with his mother but will team up also.
Next Week on Y&R, Phyllis Confronts Sharon with Evidence
Ahead on Young & the Restless, Phyllis is going to confront Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) face-to-face about Heather’s murder & will tell her she has proof that she did it. This conversation comes about immediately after Sharon had already been haunted by Heather’s ghost this week in her house, in her car, & at Chancellor Park… Same outfit on Sharon the preview shows…
Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) has already let Sharon know that Phyllis has in her mind that Sharon is a suspect & Sharon’s mind immediately went to “taking care of Phyllis.” Sharon & Phyllis both have their own versions of crazy, however, Sharon needs to be checked into in-patient care ASAP & Phyllis is just her own version of regular crazy in public. Ergo, Phyllis should remain vigilant, but she’s set up to survive like she always does.
“All-Star Attorney Christine Blair”… Since When?!?
When was the last time Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) won a memorable court case? No one can remember… Frankly, her legal representation skillset is about as reliable as Detective Chance Chancellor’s skillset in solving cases. Daniel has known Cricket forever… Blah, blah, blah… but is a good relationship with a bug going to keep him out of jail. After a few drinks at Society after safely taking a cab to imbibe, Daniel Romalotti now sees the light.
Unlikely Allies in an Emergency: Red & The Bug on Y&R
While Cricket will never admit that she is a less than a sub-par attorney, especially to Phyllis, she has already realized that Genoa City’s most crafty bitch, Good Ole’ Red has the potential to be a tremendous asset in her case to defend Daniel. On the flip flop, Phyllis doesn’t have more than 2 minutes for The Bug ever, but if she can do her dirty deeds in the gray area to help Cricket save her son, she’ll do it.
Watch out Young & the Restless fans… Is there a new friendship coming soon in Genoa City when boring Christine isn’t touring with Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian)? Whoa! Let’s not ask for too much. Let’s just enjoy being swept in November with one of this soap opera’s most unlikely alliances ever-ever-ever on Y&R.
