Sharon was there for Chelsea along with Billy Abbott after Chelsea attempted to kill herself. Now it’s not even crossing Chelsea’s mind that she should give her landlord notice as she has made her decision to live on the Newman Compound. “Well, I Would Need to Get Out of My Lease” (NOT!)
According to Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan), Genoa City & the whole wide world continues to revolve around her. While she’s been considering whether to move to the Newman Compound or not, she’s never considered her landlord Sharon Newman (Sharon Case). Sure, Sharon Newman will always be fine money-wise as her last name is Newman. Perhaps Chelsea didn’t even sign a lease with Sharon. Maybe they simply had a verbal agreement. Yet still, wouldn’t Chelsea want to do the right thing & let her landlord know she is moving out?
Oh wait, Chelsea can’t. Sharon is missing & Chelsea doesn’t know.
“Oh, Be Sure to Let Sharon Know. I’m Sure It Will Be Fine.” (NOT!)
Does Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) know that Sharon Newman is missing? Not so much. If he did, he would be white on rice in the search for her almost if not matching his brother Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) search efforts. While Detective Chance Chancellor claims to be searching for Sharon, he’s still trying to work his way out of a brown paper bag. It’s a wonder that Nick hasn’t called Adam in for back-up already. Even so, doesn’t Adam Newman watch the damn news or pay attention to anyone other than Chelsea Lawson at this point? Even Ian Ward (Ray Wise) knows via the World Wide Web that Sharon Newman’s vehicle was found in the river & Sharon or Sharon’s body has not been located yet. Maybe he would find out about Sharon if he encouraged his new incoming recurring roommate Chelsea to give her landlord notice he would be in the loop.

Adam & Chelsea are moving to the Newman Compound so their son Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) can have the exact number of light switches switching the exact right way at all times is maybe too cute. Connor has been getting well with his cousins, but they are getting into their teenage years. What happens when Johnny Abbott (Paxton Mishkind) or Christian flip the switches on Connor? Where will Connor want to go next? Perhaps back to that convenient cute little cottage above Crimson Lights where he could see Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) who has had & will continue to have his back…
