General Hospital Spoilers: Ava Jerome Calls In Alexis Davis’s Favor and Lawyers Up as Brennan Case Erupts

TL;DR: On Tuesday, October 27, Ava Jerome called Alexis Davis and said she was calling in a favor. On Wednesday, Ava lawyers up in the Jack Brennan case. Nobody has named her lawyer yet, but Alexis has a lot of reasons she can’t say no.

Ava Picked Up the Phone After Joe Said Her Name

Ava Jerome needs a lawyer, and on General Hospital the first number she dialed belongs to the woman who owes her. On Tuesday, October 27, Ava called Alexis Davis and told her she was calling in a favor. Alexis owes her one, Ava said, and she is ready to collect. On Wednesday, October 28, Ava decides it is time to get legal representation. Which lawyer she hires has not been revealed.

She has reason to panic. Joe Fitzpatrick got Dante Falconeri‘s go-ahead to open a file on Jack Brennan‘s disappearance, and the first name out of Joe’s mouth was Ava’s. William Baines cornered her about Jack’s last night until Portia Robinson shut it down, then warned her the WSB will be in touch. Her nephew Lucas Jones tried to sweet-talk Joe and made it worse. The call came at the Grill, right after Ava watched Drew Cain comfort Scout Cain about her mother, Sam. Drew is her partner in the Brennan mess, and Portia had just warned her he will turn on her. Ava did not call Drew. She called Alexis.

The Debt Alexis Davis Would Rather Forget

The show hasn’t said which favor Ava means, but the record is loaded. In 2025, Ava Jerome blackmailed Alexis with proof that Kristina Corinthos-Davis cut the brakes on the car Ric Lansing was driving, and Alexis paid out of Cassadine money. That August, when Ric locked the cash in bonds, Ava hit him over the head, and she, Alexis and Kristina kept him in Alexis’s basement.

Then came October 3, 2025. Ric got loose and held Helena’s dagger to Alexis’s throat. Ava burst in, threw hot water in his face and knocked him out with a serving tray.

Cody found Ric twelve days later, and Ric covered for the women with a story about a cult. We called them Port Charles’s least likely crime syndicate at the time. My gut says that dagger is the favor.

Is Alexis Davis Ava Jerome’s Lawyer on General Hospital?

Not yet, and nobody has said she will be. Wednesday’s spoilers only promise that Ava Jerome hires someone. Alexis can certainly take the job.

Her disbarment was vacated in 2024, she argued Willow’s case in January, and she is a partner at Miller and Davis. Circulating spoiler chatter has pointed at Monet Mitchell, who works at Alexis’s firm. Reading between the lines, Alexis could pay her debt by sending Ava down the hall instead of taking the chair herself.

The other lawyer who knows Ava best is the worst choice. Ric got her acquitted in 2024, and she repaid him with a paperweight and a basement.

Sonny, Ric and Sidwell Crowd Alexis’s Week

Here is what nobody is connecting. Hours before Ava called, Sonny Corinthos stormed into Alexis’s office over her silence about Pentonville. She told him she hopes he’s innocent but is staying out of it.

Ava is the mother of his daughter Avery, and the woman who helped set up the attack he is blamed for. On Thursday, Ric makes a request of Alexis. And in September, Jenz Sidwell hired Alexis, the same Sidwell that Ava and Drew’s Pentonville plan targeted.

What the Favor Could Cost Alexis

If Ava’s lawyer starts asking about the night Jack vanished, the answers lead straight to Drew, who told Ava he disabled the Metro Court cameras. Could her lawyer push her to turn on him before he turns on her? We already asked whether Ava is the weak link in Drew’s cover-up and whether the pair might dig up Brennan’s grave. Meanwhile the WSB is backing off Nina Reeves, which leaves Ava standing alone.
