The Texts Came First

Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Katie shatters a window at Forrester Creations on Friday, October 30, and this time we know exactly what lit the fuse. On Thursday, Katie Logan Spencer read Brooke’s texts aloud off her husband’s phone. On Friday, spoilers say, she takes it to the CEO office at Forrester Creations, and something goes through the glass.

Here is what aired. Brooke Logan texted Bill Spencer about the bad press, Bill promised he would talk to Katie again about dialing it back, and Brooke wrote, “So grateful I can always count on you.” Bill answered with a stallion emoji.

When his phone dinged, Katie held it up to his face to unlock it. “This is why you want me to go easy on Forrester,” she said. “Because of her! Because of Brooke!!”

Bill’s defense was five words: “It’s not what you think.” The network’s line for Friday is even shorter: “Katie is on the war path!” Every day of it is laid out in our Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for the next two weeks.

The Promo Looked Like a Business War

When the clip first dropped last week, it played like the feud over Forrester finally turning physical. Katie Logan Spencer hurls something through the window of the Forrester CEO office, Brooke screams, “Oh my God, Katie, you’re crazy,” and Katie fires back, “You are evil!” It looked like a rival boss who had lost the plot over market share.

Put Thursday in front of it and the whole scene changes. This is a wife who just learned her husband has been reporting to her sister. Bill spent more than a week telling her to ease up on Forrester and never said why. Now she knows, and she knows exactly whose door to go knock on.

Why Does Katie Throw Something Through the Forrester Window?

Spoilers say the texts send her there, and the order alone makes the case. The texts aired Thursday. Friday’s preview promises that neither Brooke nor the Forrester Creations CEO office “is gonna know what hit it.”

As for what she throws, the previews can’t agree. One calls it a bottle, another a statue, and the clip doesn’t settle it. Here’s my guess. On Thursday, minutes before the phone dinged, Katie wanted to “bust out the bubbly” over Logan’s viral announcement. Don’t be surprised if that celebration is what ends up going through Forrester’s window.

Brooke Found a Way, and Katie Found It First

The other half of Thursday matters just as much. Brooke told Ridge Forrester she “may have found a way” to convince Katie to stop. Ridge asked how, and Brooke dodged. In the same breath she said, “I miss my sister a lot.”

Reading between the lines, the way was Bill. Brooke went to him on October 20, he promised to talk to Katie, and Katie has been asking ever since where his sudden change of heart came from. We already covered what that stallion emoji means for the marriage. Friday is where it lands on the sisters.

Donna Logan saw this coming. On October 23 she warned Brooke that if Katie got even a whiff of her talks with Bill, “she will go off.” Katie got a lot more than a whiff. She got it in Brooke’s own words.

Who Gets the Blame for the Broken Glass

Our readers have already picked sides. One reader on our Facebook page wrote that Brooke and Bill “stepped on her too many times” and signed off Team Kat. Another reader pushed back that this is a personal issue, and Katie should not be trashing Forrester over it.

Both have a point, and that is the trap. Katie Logan Spencer has a real grievance with her husband and her sister, and a window at Forrester is not where it lives. Then again, Brooke smashed a monitor in their fight back in July, so she is in no position to call anybody crazy. Katie’s warpath and the blows still to come start with this glass, and the next one may not land on Forrester at all.
