Bold and the Beautiful spoilers: Ridge Forrester admits Forrester is in trouble. How close is the house to going under, and who saves it?
RIDGE FORRESTER TELLS BROOKE THE FAMILY HOUSE IS IN TROUBLE AFTER A YEAR OF WATCHING ITS TALENT WALK TO LOGAN
TL;DR: Spoilers say Ridge Forrester admits to Brooke on Thursday, October 29 that Forrester is in trouble, a day after Eric regrets losing Zende to Logan. Nobody has said bankrupt yet. So how close is the house to going under?
Ridge Says It Out Loud on Thursday
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for Thursday, October 29 deliver the line nobody at the top wanted to say. Forrester is in trouble, and Ridge Forrester is the one who admits it, to his wife, Brooke Logan. The network’s own day line says exactly that. What it does not say is how deep the hole goes.
So is Forrester Creations going under? Not on screen, not yet. Nobody has said bankrupt, sold or closing. But Ridge has been creeping toward this confession for a month, and Bradley Bell promised in his fall preview that the Forresters would show “some financial concerns and concerns for the future of the company.” We flagged it the day Katie’s war first threatened Forrester’s money.
Is Ridge to blame for this mess, or is it all Katie? Tell me what you think at amber@soapoperamagazine.com.
A Month of Warnings Before Thursday
On September 25, Ridge talked about the rough spot the company was in after Hope left and pitched the secret Electra line as the thing that could pull them out of the hole. On October 19 he called it survival mode and told Brooke, “We have to do whatever it takes.” Brooke took that literally. She called Bill Spencer.
By October 22, Brooke was confessing to her sister Donna Logan that she had told Bill they are in dire straits. She also said Katie Logan Spencer would be happy if Forrester went bankrupt. Donna’s warning was blunt: Bill will go in for the kill.

The Loss Ledger: Who Walked and What It Cost
Start with the co-founder. Eric Forrester briefly joined Katie at Logan early this year before coming home. Then Hope Logan Spencer turned up as Logan’s star at the June 26 runway, and her Hope for the Future line died after she left.
That cost Zende Forrester Dominguez his lead job. He landed under RJ Forrester on the youth line with Electra Forrester as its face, and he hated every minute. When Ridge fired Melissa “Miss” Dylan on October 12, Zende walked out beside her the next day and said yes to Logan on October 14. Dylan, for the record, still has no Logan job. Katie only said she would think about it.
Spoilers say Eric is remorseful about Zende’s departure on Wednesday, October 28. One day later, Ridge Forrester tells Brooke the truth. The designer meant to help build Forrester’s way out now works for the woman trying to bury it, the fight we saw coming in Logan’s race to crash Electra’s youth line.

Is Forrester Creations Going Bankrupt on Bold and the Beautiful?
No one on screen has said so. As of October 23, the strongest words come from Brooke, not Ridge: dire straits, and a sister who would cheer a bankruptcy. Nobody has spelled out whether the trouble is cash, orders or investors. That is the first thing to listen for on Thursday.
Here is what the day line does not tell you: Forrester has been taken from the Forresters again and again. Brooke once owned 51 percent of the company on the strength of her BeLieF formula. Nick Marone forced the family to sell to him. Bill has held the keys twice, once with Katie in the CEO chair and once as a Spencer Publications subsidiary. Most recently, Carter Walton seized control in late 2024 and handed it back to Ridge and Eric in March 2025.
Bill Holds the Money and the History
That history makes Bill the most dangerous man in this story. On October 22 he told Katie they should ease up on their attacks on Forrester. Katie could not believe he would not be thrilled to bury Forrester. He admitted he would, but said he is not sure it needs to go that far. On Monday, October 26, he tries to appeal to her empathy.
My gut tells me Ridge Forrester would rather sell his drafting table than ask Bill for a dime. But Brooke already went to Bill, and she says she knows him “in a way that nobody does.” If Thursday’s admission means the house needs money, the one man in town who has bought Forrester before is the one she trusts. Could a rescue turn into a buyout? Katie has been aiming at the bottom line all fall, the way we laid out in Katie’s three dirty tricks.
Watch Friday, October 30, too. A new Forrester Creations employee debuts that day. Nobody has said who the newcomer is or why they are there, and the same episode finds Katie on the war path.

Who should save Forrester: Ridge on his own, or a deal with the devil? Leave your answer in the comments.

Forrester Is Bleeding, but It Is Not Buried Yet
Our take: Forrester is hurt, not finished. Ridge Forrester admitting trouble to Brooke is the first honest thing anyone at the top has said about the business in months, and honesty is usually where the comeback starts on this show. The danger is who shows up offering the rescue.
