ABBY WINTERS WONDERS IF SHE COULD BE PREGNANT, AND NOBODY HAS ANSWERED THE QUESTION YET

TL;DR: Young and the Restless spoilers: Is Abby pregnant? The preview for the week of Nov 2 has Abby Winters wondering if she could be, after a talk with Chelsea at Society. Nothing is confirmed, and her doctor told her in 2021 she could not carry a baby.

Abby’s Talk With Chelsea Ends in a Question She Never Expected

Is Abby pregnant? The week of Nov 2 brings one of the juiciest Young and the Restless spoilers of the fall: Abby Winters sits down with Chelsea Lawson at Society and walks away wondering if she has a baby on the way. The preview has her ask out loud whether she could be pregnant, as she connects the dots on how sick she has been feeling lately.

So is she? Nobody has said. There is no test, no result and no word yet on how Devon Winters would take the news. One headline already shouted that Abby is pregnant, but even that story only says she might be. Right now this is a question, and it is a loaded one.

Chelsea is the one who sets it off. She runs through the case against carrying another child, the insomnia, the indigestion, the nausea, and something clicks for Abby. The irony is rich: back on June 4, Adam Newman asked Chelsea about having another child and she told him she doesn’t want another pregnancy. On Tuesday, Nov 3, Chelsea gets mixed signals from Adam, so the baby talk is far from over in that house either. Our week of Nov 2 preview has the rest of the week.

Why a Baby Would Be a Medical Shock for Devon’s Wife

Here is the part the headlines skip. Abby lost a baby in 2016, and on Jan 18, 2021, her doctor delivered brutal news: the miscarriage left so much scarring on her uterine wall that there was no place for an embryo to implant. Her body worked, but it could not hold a pregnancy.

That is why Mariah Copeland carried Dominic as her surrogate, with Devon as the donor. Abby and Devon delivered the boy together on Aug 27, 2021. If Abby Winters really is pregnant now, it overturns the diagnosis that shaped her whole road to motherhood, and that is a much bigger story than a little morning nausea.

Is Abby Pregnant on Young and the Restless?

Not confirmed. The preview has Abby Winters wondering, nothing more, and the show has not revealed a test or a doctor’s answer. A false alarm is very much on the table, and so is heartbreak, because this is a woman who was told no once already. My gut says the writers would not raise her old diagnosis just to brush it aside.

The timing is what makes it dangerous. In September, the show’s executive producer said Devon and Abby’s marriage “will be tested,” with Abby turning to “someone from her past.” And Devon’s ex, Roxanne Barrington, is coming home in November; our story on how her return could shatter Devon and Abby’s marriage lays out that history. A surprise baby would land right in the middle of all of it.

Dr. Andrew Bishop Arrives, but Nothing Ties Him to the Baby Question

The same preview introduces Dr. Andrew Bishop, played by Fareed Ward, which is why the two stories got lumped together. He walks in on Nate Hastings and Stephanie Simmons sharing a hug at the hospital and tells Nate he heard rumors he was back. Our story on Fareed Ward joining as Dr. Andrew Bishop has more, and no first air date has been announced.

Is Bishop the doctor who gives Abby her answer? Nobody says so. Every scene described so far puts him with Nate and Stephanie, not with Abby Winters. Reading between the lines, a new doctor at Genoa City Memorial is a handy way to deliver a result, but for now that is our guess, not a spoiler.

Before any of that, Abby is back on screen today, Friday, Oct 30, at the Winters family dinner, where she learns Nate and Stephanie are a couple and smiles as Devon makes peace with his sister, Lily Winters. It may be the last carefree night she has for a while.

Abby’s Baby Question Could Be a Miracle or a Gut Punch for Devon

My prediction: the show did not stumble into a pregnancy story for the one woman in Genoa City who was told she could not carry a child. Either Abby gets the miracle she was told was impossible, or she gets her hopes crushed in the same month Devon’s ex rolls into town. Neither one leaves this marriage untouched.
