Young and the Restless Spoilers: Cane Ashby Could Expose Kyle Abbott and Victoria Newman’s London Secret

Kyle Abbott Tells Cane One Paris Story, and Billy Walks In With Another

Cane saw Kyle in London too, and he heard the cover story himself. In Wednesday’s episode, the scene behind this week’s Young and the Restless spoilers, Kyle Abbott told Cane Ashby at a London pub that he had stopped to see a friend on his way to Paris. Then Billy Abbott walked in: “Jack said you were going straight to Paris.” So once Cane and Billy compare notes, does Cane blow Kyle’s Paris cover story?

Not so far. Nothing in the spoilers says Cane tells anyone, and Thursday’s CBS teaser belongs to Victoria Newman and her doubts about Kyle. But Cane is the witness nobody is watching. He has heard both Paris stories out loud, and on Monday he heard Billy put Victoria in London.

Here’s the twist. Kyle never hid Paris from Cane; he told him it was his next stop. What Cane didn’t know is that Kyle’s father, Jack Abbott, had told Billy his son was going straight there. Our day-ahead showed how Kyle brought a thin excuse to a London pub, and the weak spot is the friend in London, a stop in Cane’s version and nobody else’s.

Cane Ashby Already Heard Billy Put Victoria in London

Does Cane know Victoria is in London? He does, because Billy told him. On Monday, Oct 26, over drinks at a London pub, Billy mentioned he had dropped by the Newman apartment and would go back later to see Victoria. On Tuesday, Billy was back at her door while Kyle waited it out on the balcony.

Cane flew out the night of Oct 21 to be with Jill Abbott, Billy’s mother, who still treats him like a son. On Wednesday, he told Kyle that Jill hadn’t woken up yet and the next couple of days are crucial. Kyle talked about his mother, Diane, Cane about forgiving his father, Colin, and Kyle was honest about everything except why he was in London.

Cane now holds more of the picture than Billy does, and if you can’t wait, Thursday’s episode, which already aired in Canada, picks up right at that table.

Does Cane Know About Kyle and Victoria on Young and the Restless?

Not as far as viewers have seen. Cane Ashby has never seen Kyle and Victoria together, and nothing on screen shows him doubting the friend story. What he has are three pieces: a friend in London, a father told “straight to Paris” and Billy’s plan to go back and see Victoria. Will he put them side by side?

Cane knows a cover story when he hears one. He came back to Genoa City in June 2025 calling himself Aristotle Dumas, and that July he named Jabot and Newman Enterprises among the companies he wanted to take over. That’s Kyle’s family company and Victoria’s in one breath. He also knows what a kept secret costs: Lily Winters kept her cancer scare from him from Oct 1 until Oct 13.

Does he go home and tell Lily? Nobody has put a date on Cane’s trip home. Her brother, Devon Winters, promised Monday to make an effort with Cane for Lily’s sake, but nothing in the spoilers puts Cane back home with the Abbotts yet.

Billy, Jack and the Paris Timeline Kyle Has to Keep Straight

Kyle has to keep his Paris story straight for two men at once, and a third back home. Jack heard about an overseas business trip on Friday, Oct 23, and by Wednesday had told Billy it was straight to Paris. Cane heard about a friend in London. Billy had Jack’s version, then found Kyle in a pub. Victoria, the real reason for London, heard Kyle pitch Paris on Monday.

Next week is where it could crack. Circulating spoiler chatter says Billy tells Jack he spotted Kyle in London, and Kyle may have to repeat the friend story. Then Jack hears about a stop in London that was never in his version. Does he ever think to ask Cane, the one man who heard both stories?

Billy may not be the calm one when the truth comes out. Jason Thompson said in an interview this week that, as Billy, he would “like to just punch Kyle once and then never say anything again.” Meanwhile, first-look photos show Kyle back with Victoria, worried they could be exposed, and that is when Victoria second-guesses the affair. That leaves Cane as the calmest man in London, and the one most likely to get asked.

Cane Ashby Is the Witness, Not the Messenger

My prediction: Cane Ashby doesn’t blow anything up on purpose. Jill comes first, and the man he would expose is Jack’s son. The danger is the first time Billy or Jack asks him what Kyle said before Billy walked in, because one honest answer about a friend in London is all it takes.
