The Young and the Restless
Y&R Comings and Goings Week of October 26: Grams Names Her Price at a Wedding, a Phone Call Changes the Mood, and Familiar Faces Head Back to Genoa City
Y&R Comings and Goings has Patrika Darbo as Shirley Spectra at a wedding, Snapper phoning in news, and three familiar faces on the way.
GRAMS STEALS THE SHOW IN Y&R COMINGS AND GOINGS
This Y&R Comings and Goings roundup has Patrika Darbo turning up as Shirley Spectra to walk Courtney Hope’s Sally Spectra down the aisle, Sienna Mercuri and Paxton Mishkind home as Katie and Johnny Abbott, and Snapper phoning in news about Jill Abbott, with Bryton James, Hayley Erin, and Vivica A. Fox on the schedule next week. Genoa City has never let a bride eat her cake in peace.
Young and the Restless Comings & Goings
Genoa City has never met a wedding it could not turn into a circus, and this round of Y&R Comings and Goings proves the tent keeps getting bigger. Between a grandmother with a price in mind, a phone call nobody wanted, and a lineup of familiar faces headed back, nobody in town is being eased into the week. There is plenty more on the way, too.

Grams Gives The Bride Away
Patrika Darbo turned up on Monday, October 19, as Shirley Spectra, the Grams of Courtney Hope’s Sally Spectra, right as the curtains parted at the GCAC. Shirley walked the bride down the aisle, and when the minister asked who gives this woman, she answered with a price tag and a reminder that the groom is loaded. Jason Thompson’s Billy Abbottsuggested they work it out later, and Grams graciously gave her blessing anyway. A woman who negotiates at a wedding is a woman who knows her worth.
Michael Nanfria officiated as the minister, and he made a point of mentioning his family’s history with the Abbotts. Sienna Mercuri and Paxton Mishkind were home as Katie Abbott and Johnny Abbott for the festivities, and by Wednesday, October 21, the two were heading off to meet their new sibling. On Tuesday, October 20, Camryn Grimeswas back as Mariah Copeland, joining Sharon Case’s Sharon Newman for a tense conversation about a houseguest nobody asked for.
Snapper Calls With Bad News
Some people send a text, and some people send Snapper, a role David Hasselhoff has played in the past. His voice was never heard, but the news landed loud. On Monday, October 19, Snapper rang Billy and Billy Flynn’s Cane Ashby in the middle of the reception to tell them Jess Walton’s Jill Abbott had suffered a cardiac event. He also phoned Eric Braeden’s Victor Newman on Thursday, October 22, and by Friday, October 23, Tracey E. Bregman’s Lauren Fenmorehad spoken with him herself, with word that Jill looked ready for surgery.
Three Familiar Faces Head Back
Next week, Bryton James is back as Devon Winters on Monday, October 26, when Christel Khalil’s Lily Winters works to mend fences with Devon and Cane. Hayley Erin is on the schedule as Claire Newman on Wednesday, October 28, when Claire sets boundaries with Zuleyka Silver’s Audra Charles, and that same day Joshua Morrow’s Nick Newman receives an update about Roger Howarth’s Matt Clark. On Friday, October 30, Vivica A. Fox is back as Dr. Stephanie Simmons, the day Sean Dominic’s Nate Hastings and Stephanie go public.
