He is not rushing her toward an answer. He is not filling the silence with noise because the silence is uncomfortable. He is sitting in it with her because that is what this moment requires, and he knows it.

This is Billy Abbott rising to the occasion. Not just once with the rescue that nobody saw coming. Not just once in a hotel room in Las Vegas putting together a coalition to find his brother. Rising to the occasion again, in a quieter room, in a harder conversation, with no audience and no applause and nothing to gain except being the person that Sally needs him to be right now.
