Nick Newman and Marie Kirkland’s Rehab Day Goes Dark

At rehab, Nick Newman is having a rough one, grunting through a craving until Marie Kirkland teases him about his empty fan club. Nick admits he needs a meeting, and Marie confesses this one feels worse for a reason that has nothing to do with her arachnophobia.

Her husband Logan is coming in person to hash out their divorce, and the thought of him alone makes her feel three inches tall. Nick Newman offers to run interference, but Marie shuts that down, reminding him he is in no state to fight anyone else’s battles.

Logan arrives sizing up the room, clocks Nick Newman as one of Victor’s sons, and asks to speak to Marie alone. Nick steps out but lingers close enough to hear everything that follows.

Logan needles Marie about her track record, wondering if this attempt sticks any better than the last several. He grabs her face and demands to know if she is sleeping with “the rich boy,” and Marie shoves him off hard enough to send him to the ground. Nick rushes back in to find Logan not moving.

Stephanie Simmons Steadies Nate Hastings Before Surgery

Ahead of his big day, Stephanie Simmons swings by to collect Nate Hastings, and the two get lost in an article about robot-assisted suturing. Nate admits he feels behind, and Stephanie assures him he will catch up and be great again.

Nate tells her that having her in his corner means more than she probably realizes, which is the kind of line that never stays platonic for long on this show.

Lily Winters Pushes Devon Winters to Give Holden Novak a Chance

At Crimson Lights, Lily Winters points out how happy Devon Winters looks over his new school project, admitting she has not seen him this content in a while. Talk shifts to Winters and the Chancellor fight, still one of the biggest threads in the latest Young and the Restless spoilers, where Lily reveals Billy has called off the dogs for now.

Devon credits Billy with buying her time and promises to root for her from the sidelines, but Lily wants more than cheerleading. She asks him to give Holden Novak an actual chance instead of writing him off.

Devon is not ready for a group hug and argues that Holden turning Billy down proves nothing except that he considered betraying her. Lily insists Holden’s hesitation comes from feeling like an outsider his whole life, not disloyalty, and reminds Devon that when it counted, Holden chose their family.

Stephanie and Nate rejoin them before heading to surgery, and the warmth softens Devon enough that he agrees to give Holden a real shot and let the family feuding stop. Once Nate is off, Stephanie returns alone, glowing with an optimism the rest of Genoa City could use.

Jack Abbott and Diane Jenkins Fish a Message Out of the Ocean

In Tahiti, Jack Abbott and Diane Jenkins pull a bottle from the water, and Diane insists on cracking it open despite Jack’s preference for other activities. A ring mishap turns into an ordeal before they free the note tucked inside, which asks one haunting question: is all love lost?

Diane calls the timing a miracle given everything they have survived, and the two decide to write back before sending the bottle spinning off into the tide again. Jack slips her ring back on and promises he will never let her go a second time.
