Audra & Damian Play Full Court Press & What Happens Next
The storyline introducing Amy Lewis on Young & the Restless started slow but just in time for the end of February sweeps things have sped up & Y&R fans are not sure where this new cast of characters is headed. Soap opera viewers have barely gotten used to who the real Damian is & he is already playing full-court press in Genoa City with his end game being Lily Winters, or so he says. Are Lily & Audra headed for another missed opportunity to compare notes out of being stubborn to save themselves?
Devon Winters Can Forget About His New Cousin
Young & the Restless fans have not seen Devon Winters (Bryton James) in a while & so far there have been no complaints. Hopefully, he has been working on finding office space for his company. He & his company haven’t had office space since their separation from Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) & Abbott Chancellor. Now CEO Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) & her beloved granddaughter who tried to kill the Newmans, Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) just over a year ago are at the helm inside that office. The late Katherine Chancellor (the late Jeanne Cooper) has to be rolling in her grave.
Regardless, Devon was excited to meet his new cousin Damian Kane (Nathan Owens now Jermaine Rivers) after his cousin Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) shared the news of his existence. Too bad Damian isn’t anyone’s cousin, but he is Nate’s half-brother.
Lily Winters Clears the Air, Not Related to Real Damian
Again, Lily Winters’ mother & Nate Hastings’ mother are sisters. That’s it. Lily is not related to Damian’s mother Amy Lewis (Valerie Pettiford) or her aunt’s husband by blood. Ergo, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) is not related to Fake Damian or Real Damian. Good thing as out of nowhere, Damian has changed his travel plans out of Genoa City & back to L.A. & he & his BFF Holden are not going anywhere. Damian is as taken with Lily as Holden (Nathan Owens) is with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver). This storyline that seemed to be running with just one elderly hamster running on a very slow wheel has finally sped up & Young & the Restless fans are ready for more.
Audra & Lily with Their Hands Full Again with the Same Basket
Is history about to repeat itself on Young & the Restless? It wouldn’t be the first time. It wasn’t long ago that The Almighty Victor Newman was screwing over both Lily Winters in the way of Chancellor Industries & Audra Charles in the way of Glissade. Lily can’t stand Audra & Audra will give anyone the time of day if she thinks she may get anything out of it. If only they would have bellied up for a strong beverage or two once or twice at the GCAC or Society to compare notes. Now it seems they’re headed for similar doom & gloom unless they open their minds & a bottle of wine to team up.
If Audra & Lily do work together, Audra’s relationship with Nate would be strengthened &. If not, Audra & Lily may both lose again on Young & the Restless.
